by Sujal on Mar 14, 2011 08:11 PM  | Hide replies

Atleast 10 of them will migrate to US, UK, Germany, France & Singapore.. They will make softwares for the companies over there.. And again those technologies will come to India as Products which will be sold as hot cakes!!! I AM MAD, YOU ARE MAD & INDIANS ARE MAD!!! WE NEED TO CHANGE, NOT JUST BLAME POLITICIANS!!!

Politicians sure are to be blamed for this. Also, top bureaucrats and some of our egoist and greedy " Scientist politicians" also. There is politics and lobbying, favouritism, nepotism in reasearch posts and fund allocations and grabbing these funds among their "own " people in research organisations. This leads to injustice, prejudice and thus frustation and disappointment among genuine talents ,which leads their migration to developed countries. Just a small example of this is sensitive spectrum allocation to Dewas.

RENDEZVOUS VISHY
CYBER CRIME
by RENDEZVOUS VISHY on Mar 13, 2011 07:07 PM

March 12: Crime Investigation Department sleuths arrested a former employee of a Singapore-based MNC for stealing the personal identification numbers by hacking into the server of a BPO and selling them to an accomplice in Kuwait. The accused, identified as Mohammed Ghouse, managed to gain unauthorised access to the computer system of the complainant, IVOICE Network Private Limited, located in Kamalapuri Colony in the city.

INVOICE does business process outsourcing services for a Singapore-based company, Networks PTE Ltd, for Voice Over Internet Protocol, which are phone calls through the Internet. According to the Cyber Crime additional superintendent of police, Mr U. Rammohan, on March 1, a complaint was lodged by the MD of IVOICE, Mr Balu Visveswar, alleging that their server had been hacked into and several PINs used for making VOIP calls were created by unknown persons, causing them a loss of `6 lakh.

Police registered a case of cheating under the IT Amendment Act and began a probe. By tracing the IP address, cops found that Shaikh Mohammed Ghouse Basha, 30, a resident of Venkatagiri in Jubilee Hills and a native of Sankarapuram in Kadapa, was the mastermind behind this cyber crime.

I googled for their linkedin profiles and saw that these are "regular" guys like us and somehow manage to carve out time to do all these things!

It would be great to know the college that these guys have graduated from and a way to reach them if required.

And how many such "humble caricatures" have you made so far? Perhaps you can share them here?

Sitting before a PC and writing cynical things does not make you an expert.

If indeed they are poor caricatures, then MIT would not have taken all this trouble. Or is it that you claim to be more of an expert then the MIT? Have you seen any of the prototypes of these products?

The world is full of self-proclaimed experts like you who never bother to do any real work and are only good at finding faults.

I agree, most of these are readily available in market and used in industries. Reinventing the wheel I would say. Large words for who do not know them.

I guess you guys are really wrong. It is very easy to sit here and pull down the efforts of these guys. At least they are not settling for cushy high paying jobs, and trying to make a diff to the society. Come on, let's give them their due.
