Your statistics is chalta hai not even with dunces.Your statistical facts are wrong.A cup of coffee in Japan costs 350-800 JPY i.e.,3 US $,
Switzerland 7-8 CHF
USA -78 cents,
Hong Kong -5 hongkong dollars,
Singapore -2 dollars.
India -3 rs.

Now get your stats right. There is inflation in these countries (excluding India)But their PCI is 10 to 15 times more and this offsets inflation. But this is not the case with India.Salaries are low.Inflation is high.So low salaries means more inflation.
Inflation is killing our country.Politicians are glossing over this bitter fact. But we can't ignore it or bluff about it.

And in India where prices are quoted according to the manufacturer's,wholesaler's and retailer's fancy and greed, inflation can certainly not be low.

List other comodities also like car, electronics, petrol price, milk, sugar, merchandise.

In India if some one is getting 5 Rs Tea, simply its mean labour cost is very low and vendor is charging only the price ingredients. In US full fat milk per gallon(3.8 Liter) cost 3$ how much it is in India, with same quality?

Petrol price in US is 3$ per gallon, what it is in INDIA with same Quality.

SONY, LG, SAMSUNG 42 inch LED cost 500-800 USD, how much it is in India?

In US Honda Accord, Toyota camry, Sonata cost 17000 USD and what it is in India?

Affordable Housing possible?
by Guddiswamy on Mar 09, 2011 06:04 PM  | Hide replies

Will affordable housing be possible in coming years in metros like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore. Prices are already on top of the sky. How would general public be able to buy a house? Is it really possible that the prices increase by 1.5 Lakhs per month? Why do people still buy the properties inspite of exorbitant and manipulated rise?

Indians can never be enterprising the best way they know is capital gain. They think buying property is the safest and surest way to increase gains. But take it my friend another 5 yrs and you will see the mortgage crisis in India. Indian economy will burst similar to the US economy when people will start defaulting on loans as they will realise even after earning 1 lakh per month they end up with 10,000 per month as rest is taken away by mortgage.

Who would have predicted Singapore , Thiwan and Hongkong some 50 years ago to have seen what they are today.

I have my serious doughts about this artical especially Soudi Arabia , which is very very poor in human resources index.
I am also very surprised to not see Russia which has a lot of mineral and hydrocarbon wealth lyeing to be tapped in siberia.
Or for that matter Ajarbaijan .

Saudi, Russia and Azerbaijan rely on hydrocarbons which are finite resources, while SG, HK etc exploit human capital. Hence they will always be on top.

Medical Community-Getting Richer by each day. How ?
by Skewed on Mar 09, 2011 01:30 PM  | Hide replies

Nagging questions of all times.
a) Inspite of increase in number of doctors, diseases numbers are increasing. What is the co-relation between these two.
b) How many pharma companies and doctors would like to end the malaise of disease and let their business rot with no profit thereupon ?
c) Why new diseases crop up after every 3 months and let pharma companies and doctors make hay while others suffer ?
d) Does pharma companies mean to say all diseases are caused by animals like Mosquitoes, Rats, Mammals etc and there is no role of pharma companies in spreading these diseases and put blame squarely on animals who can not defend themselves by speaking out.
e) Are doctors and medical fraternity not greedy in making quick bucks ?
f) Why Government officials and Media fraternity keeping mum over this issue ? What is their nexus with these rogues.
