45 years ago, it was Sa Ka Patil, as Mayor of Mumbai, who repeatedly asked for funds from Centre to build a Bandra-Nariman Point Sea Link. No one heard his requests. Even today no one knows it was SK Patil who gave birth to the idea. The bridge should have been named as SK Patil Sea Link and not RGBWSL. Let us all be honest and give credit to SK Patil, the finest administrator Mumbai ever had and 5 times mayor.

Sadoba Kanhoba Patil, dont give him any credit. What has he done for Mumbai even after being a mayor for five times? It is not mooting the idea that gives one credit but for implementing the ideas. That way the idea of Konkan railway was mooted 100 years ago by the people of Konkan regiion including Barister Nath Pai, Madhu Limaye but the real credit goes to George Fernandes and to some extent Madhu Dandavate who brought it to reality. Sadoba Kanhoba was only chamcha of beparies who had to finally flee from Mumbai and contest from Banakata in Gujrat. Accept this history and then comment.

In China credit is not given to Individuals for such small projects, any project is considered as a routine job of nation building..

Our media and looters create demigods..they make them bigger than life to loot behind those names and sacrifice them like scap goats in case the going gets tought, there is no sincerity in anything only Dikhawa(hogwash)...

lavasa was India's one planned hill city. People who have gone there have come out impressed with what he has done. Come Jairam ramesh- oh where are my slums??? Why are village children studying in english schools paid by lavasa??? Bang- here comes our most precious asset- Tokenism. Stop the Project! For environment. No one asked this Minister what he has done for the criminal pollution levels in cities.
We people are destined to live shallow lives- maybe Winston Churchil was right after all.

Lavasa is a brain child of Mr pawar and his cronies just to squander public money . The land has been usurped from adivasis using unfair means . Gulabchand is just a frontman for Pawar !!

Please come and talk with the local people before you start blabbering about usurping land using unfair means n all stupid things... if that was the case, why did all the local people oppose Medha Patkar when she came to Lavasa and why did they file a petition in the court against stop order?
