The project is another humongous money spinner for the super rich and wannabe rich people of this country. It was facilitated by the corrupt bandicoots of Indian politics, including the corruption-king Sharad Pawar. More importantly, it will completely destroy some of the best natural rain forests, lakes, mountains, and the entire eco-system in the western ghats between Mumbai and Pune. Only in India, this kind of development can happen! All educated enlightened people must rally to stop this project IMMEDIATELY!

You need to get a self examination - lavassa is a land grab with help of politicians. It hardly matters whether it looks good or not - it should never have been done!

So? It is still a baby of corruption and a environment disaster? It is also a potential terrorist threat. Can you imagine a city built over backwaters of a dam when CRZ prohibits construction NEAR sea? What if someone enters Lavasa and poisons the waters? This was possible only due to teh fact that the most corrupt politician in India's history has huge share in it.
As we all know, Lavasa was created only because of huge payments made to Sharad Pawar. Remember his name, this guy will soon feature in list of growing scamsters from India.

I do not agree with second part... Sharad Pawar will never APPEAR in any scam. He is too slippery. He will continue with bigger and bigger scam till he dies but will never be caught. He is extremely shrewed.
Individuals can never work alone to achieve some thing extraordinary, they have to work in team under a dynamic leadership to lead them... if not then Why is dandi march always associated with gandji jie when thousands of common people had walked the dandi march with him...?? why is he called the father of nation when the entire nation was fighting against Britishers..??? In china your tongue is chopped if u speak anything anywhere which the government/bureau crates do not want you to.. so forget what happens in china and why...

HCC is Extra claim company. They get project by quoting less and double the value through Extra claims. They have seperate cell claims. Bigger companies like L&T they were just little more quoted are not awarded but goverment accepted the Exta claim.
