wat is missing here is the story abt the foot soldiers of the project..the dedicated team of consulting enginners from jammu & kashmir..without thre support it was never possible ...hats off to these dedicated engineers...

Aamir you are correct. Indians are known for their imperfect works. Example see New Delhi railway station. Feel embarassed to go there with family. All due to Corruption created by the Conngresss.

you guys see things only from one perspective. Why J&K? Why cant you see it as a project of India? With J&K tax money you cant even build a normal bridge, you guys are willing to accept money of India but want to call J&K as a different country.
but i think panval river bridge is still the best for me cause on both side of it there are huge long never ending tunnells, i have travelled on it through bombay goa janshatabdi which is also the only train alowed to cruse over at high speed on it, for me konkan railway is the best always!

Absolutely..... & also the Highest bridge on the konkan railway rout but let me also inform you, the chenab bridge will be an wonder, it will be taller than Effile Tower. Also there will be a station on the bridge on this Jammu- Srinagar rought :-)

we always have reason to be optimistic about projects in India ...the Commonwealth village was completed after four postponements & got finished with stained toilets & snakes in bedrooms & ISRO's well hyped rockets often go halfway up & comes down thus missing the destinations by "narrow" margins ... this project should not miss such touches of "Indian Quality" either ...
