Best airport do not mean best terminal building.It must have good navigation facility and must have atleast one additional runway.I do not think BANGALORE,HUDERABAD,GUHATI,AMRITASAR have extra runway
What is the basis of the ranking given here? ATC traffic? Passenger traffic? Passenger Facility? Rediff has failed to explain the reason why they think this is the list of India's Most Spectacular Airports. Further, Pune Airport is not even in the list wherein it is one of the busiest and better managed airport than many mentioned in the list.

I think this is ranked on the basis of city and not airport as Aurangabad Airport is Number 1 in India

Das, Rediff is fit for nothing except giving wrong info. There is no Airport in India named as Annadurai International Airport. This is a challenge. I was in Ministry of Civil Aviation for 30 years and I know better than Rediff. It is only Chennai International Airport- Anna Terminal. Let Rediff refute me.

Bose is correct, Its only "Chennai International Airport" has two terminals ( in fact, its just two adjacent buildings) - Anna Terminal ( International ) & Kamaraj Terminal (Domestic).
Can someone explain why all these airports are spectacular? Does it also mean spectacularly filthy or spectacularly underdeveloped? Mumbai airport has only had a minor makeover.. Kolkata is horrendous!
