If urban landscape means devoid of animals like dogs, cats, cows, birds, mongoose, fruit, trees, civets, frogs, snakes, pigs and living in a concrete jungle where trees only grow in pots and in totally controlled environment then i would prefer to be in a rural environment anyday.

Forget about all these eco-friendly buildings and futuristic cities. The so called metro cities in India are terrible with ZERO infrastructure.
We do not see any politician talking about modernizing them. Its always about poor people whose numbers keep on increasing as they cannot stop breeding. Its a vicious cycle.
In the future, with the current population growth, all India will have is a million Dharavis and people will be fighting for what ever precious resources that are available..
