Yes. I totally agree with you and don't forget Sir, the more IT jobs are created, the more will also be INDIRECT spinoffs or jobs as a result of that. So may cab drivers, hotels, construction companies and workers and security guards, canteen staff etc... will be needed and isnt it good that even lesser or non qualified people will atleast get decent jobs instead of living in poverty. More shopping malls, more spending, more cars, more petrol bunks, more autos, more buses meaning more auto drivers, more conductors and drivers, more cabbies, more tailors to meet increasing demand for clothes, more factory workers to produce the food needs of people, more crops needed to feed more humans meaning more farmers and more money to them (AGRICULTURE is backbone of our INDIA). So Foreign money in form of investments into India is good for all of us isn't it ? ALL are happy. Today we see poverty and beggars in India are slowly reducing compared to what we had earlier. Even a humble municipal worker is able to lead decent life and have his own cellphone connection, thanks to the drop in call rates and electronics prices. MOre demand means more supply and more supply is met only by people (People means employment or workforce). Welcome IT and foreign jobs with both hands please. Only foreign money which was once taken away by foreigners from the once World's richest nations INDIA is now coming back to us - the rightful owners slowly but surely.
They simply want to proove recession is over thats why they handshake wit media to create atmosphere like this. India is booming..jobs are back....but nothing is going ....

Anil .. please dont write something just for sake of blogging. I work with one of the leading companies on that list and I know for sure that my company is hiring big time. So its 100% correct news and please don't just blame someone regarding the news published.
As far as jobs are concerned, INDIA is shining in terms of employment and we are really attracting investments big time in our country. About other things I have no idea so I won't say, but about all these news items, its all true. If you are qualified you too will get one of those jobs. This is the best time for India and you too should help India grow by getting a good job and work hard and sincerely for your well being and also for the country's economy and development.

Yes, we are making some progress, due to private enterprise and Sheer need..But we have not pulled ourselves from Poverty, from dependence on the next Salary.. We are still suffering miserably for Basic things in life…What a shame….

you are absolutely Right, akter a very long time i happen to read a very realistic and thought provoking blog.
With the kind of greed Indian people have - real estate and money and so on, we will be like som e fking Ethiopia or Somalia in no time.
No one will come to our rescue.
When was the last time you bought a kilo onions for 85 rupees ? Even in the most expensive cities in the US like the NYC it costs $1.1 , thats like Rupees 55. And you get the best quality for that.

Onions in my city Hyderabad now cost Rs.40 (that's less than 1 of your NY dollars buddy.). So without knowing please don't say. Please visit my city, enjoy the Biriyani (Indian Aromatic spiced rice with herbs and meat or veggies) and have lots of onions and raitha (onion based yoghurt salad) with it and then speak.
