Indians are at the helm for transfering the money to Swiss banks, for which their name shold be very much there in the world books of records. Either the recording is improper or they are not favourin the india for including their name in guiness book of records.
Further the Indian by nature(inherent in Hindu culture) to help others, on this line they are helping foreign Nations.
They have helped(Jai Chand) Mohmad Gaury against PrithviRaj, Mir Jafer helped the Britishers to fetch India.
It is all in our blood to help others instead our brothers. On the same lines these persons who are depositing the money are putting this contry at stack.

Money abroad...

Nothing is going to happen to the money in Swiss banks and other tax havens. Reason is that all those in power have their fistful of dollars parked outside to avoid tax. The money is either kick back from foreign deals or money collected by way of local corruption. Now who will bell the cat. We are fools to re elect these corrupt politicians again and again and then cry about illegal activities.

by Dharmesh Patel on Jan 20, 2011 11:01 AM

otherwise they would have stopped providing easy ways to get poor nations money parked with them.

After the colonization period ended, this is the otherway they found to keep looting poor nations.

India must develop this technique to park this money so as to use it in Indias infrastructural development. We need it badly. Small country like Swiss can have it why not we.

The irony
by Shyam Sunder on Jan 20, 2011 10:18 AM

The irony is that very rich countries like Saudi Arabia also finds place in the list of greedy people. If corruption and greed exist in developing and undeveloped countries, we can understand people trying to loot and get to some other rich country. But why do the rich need to loot?
