Don't you know why he is still holding the agriculture portfolio? For the same reason that A Raja was holding the Telecom portfolio. And This PM has to perform his coalition dharma? They should all be dumped.

This idiot says let us export, then export at free market then when the price rises due to deficit created he wants to import and all international exporters jackup the price.
This sucker always gets govt subsidies to sugar lobby. While the industrialists and farmers in his region are piling on cash, rest of the places farmers are committing suicide. Not even one channel will put him on the spot for this kind of rubbish talk.
This guy is a blot on India, and on Maharashtra. Unfortunately, still manages to get elected!

As long as Manmohan Singh has this guy as Agriculture minister, his credibility will be ZERO. And deservedly so - any PM/govt that continues to tolerate guys like Raja and Pawar, deserves to have zero credibility.
The fellow is advising wrong course to the nation. He is now only the Agri minister and was divested from civil supplies Minister after he told PM to reduce his ministerial burden due to his other preoccupation with WC cricket. Now why he is lecturing the govt on the prero gative of other ministries.
He is advocating to Export items like Rice Whaet Sugar etc to create shortage in India and rake in moola by pushing the prices of essential items thru the roof thru his NCP supporter Traders and Middlemen at the cost of farmers and people. Ask the Minister to mind his own Ministry
he is not a minister but a sugar mafia first! he is keen on lobbying for them because he gets a percentage on exports of necessary commodities, so that a huge demand can be created n blackmarketeres can enjoy!!!!

It is simply shocking how thois man can talk like this!It seems he is making mockery of Manmohan Singh. I think he be divested of this portfolio.
Pawar is a mafia operator of sugar lobby in maharstra.He can never work in favor of poor people.He says interantionla prices of oniuon are just rs 14/Kg then why onion was costly here? Whare is need to exprot daily consumption hosuiehold iotems in India wheer we have 116 crore opulation?
If onion is cheper to grow abroad simply import it.why grow in india. Mr pawar shpould learn some econoics pricniples.With such guyys at top it was bound to happen what is happening in India.pawar had insatiable lust for power, luxury and money.I hope he carries it all to grave.
