I know whats the answer that came to your mind. Baba then why all this halla gulla?? Minister fought for good ministries with single agenda and they are completing that agenda. Allow them to do that naa... Its all about appointing a cat to protect the milk. and now punish the cat when it has finished the milk... wow hats off to this great intellect or ours....

but we don't want to be this and we have to change for the sake our country and future. Let's accept this and let the cleansing begin - ACT (Accountability, Computerization and Transparency) will help us achieve that. Accountability - by having strong Lok Pal covering MPs, Bureaucrat, Ministers. Have laws which will allow, prosecute even retired officials and ability to suspend/terminate officials. Computerize and integrate - the IT, ED, EC, FERA, other financial agencies share data. Transparency thru Contracts going on-line will full transparency to the nation. Freeze land transfers before infra projects and SEZs. These have to be enforced with independent CBI and CVC, ED, etc. We can come out stronger thru this crisis if right steps are taken.
in case of harshad mehta goverment was not paty to the scam neither they were beneficiary of such practise that was going on .Here now the case is entirely different the cause of the problem are those who have to carry hte reform so naturally this time reform's may not be possible the same way something bigger from pulic. media .court will be required so get readdy

All the subsidies goes in the pocket of black marketeers . Most of thwe grain dealers in fai price ae from Congress party. Where do you get subsidized grains etc? Ask any labourer.There is massive theft of money
Within just less than a decade, it returned in the form of Ketan Parikh scam. Then we had the likes of Ramalinga Raju who were able to get away with manipulating their balance sheets for years together. SEBI was just reduced to a silent spectator, not even allowed to question Raju on the scam. The regulator has been deliberately kept as a toothless body, which will act like a stray dog. It will run after a passing car but will not know what to do next after having caught up with the car! Raju is not an isolated case. There are hundreds of companies, who have been showing consistent growth in revenue and profits but go through the fine-print and you will immediately realize that the books are heavily manipulated. We talk of a developed market but even information dissemination is found lacking. SEBI introduced EDIFAR system for companies to file their annual reports and make company announcements. This was supposed to be like EDGAR in USA. However, filing such information was not made as a mandatory requirement failing which company's shares may be delisted from NSE and BSE. As a result, EDIFAR had to be scrapped because it was a failure. EDIFAR has been replaced by another system, however, it is only for publishing corporate announcements. Even that is not being done and yet SEBI does not act. As for annual reports, I have to subscribe to paid services by some websites..for something that should be available for free from SEBI.
AS LONG AS POLITICIANS LIKE SONIA GANDHI, SHARAD PAWAR , KALMADI ,SHIELA ARE THERE IN THE RULING PARTY THESE SCAMS WILL CONTINUE UNABATED & WE TAX PAYING CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY WILL HAVE TO BEAR THE BRUNT.
