lollipop men

In the pyramid of a company, how many can survive & reach the top of the company?

As an example, Premji keeps hiring/firing CEOs like daily labourers. VC, Ashok Soota, Vivek Paul & many others could never have the advantage of 85% stake holding Premji's family.

Indian IT men run like hamsters & will do extra 5-6 hours if fed during overtime & not paid overtime.

The truth is talented desi people serving family owned businesses with great enthusiasm & a lollipop on hand.

lollipop men.

The life of talented professionals is similar to race horses. He/She gets to be donkey to take huge work load. He/She gets to be mule to carry on a long journey when less food (compensation). He/she gets to win the race amoungst other horses (competition).
The master gets to beat the donkey/mule/horse whenever he wants to & even fire (at) them.

That is a message to all smart Indian MBAs from top schools not to join these companies. Because even if they give their lifetime to these companies, they will never reach top position and will most probably report to kids of these so called young guns.

Well said. Whoever says these are publicly traded companies seem like fools. These are family owned businesses.

Being Born Rich is Not a Crime
by senth on Feb 20, 2011 08:18 PM

And Born Poor is Not Holy.

Indian movies have done a great disservice to India, by always portraying rich people as bad, and poor as good.

I actual life we regularly find jokers in all categories.
