India for sure reach Semi-finals for # of reasons 1. Team is good and playing well 2. Home conditions 3. Indian bookies are too powerful 4. More business interest for India to reach Semi
flip side, they may lose in Semi to either SA or SL or Aussie due to inconsistent play or geniuene lack of skill and temparament.
But again bookies of India are too rich and powerful, i don't think foreign bookies bet geniuenly for india win given the inconsistent nature of team. So if stakes are high and foreigners bet india will lose, indian bookies will turn it around, what say
$3million for a 30 second spot last weekend. translates to $1 millin per 10 second or Rs 450 lakhs. sO 24 lakhs/10 sec is peanuts.. Lots or potential here

ditto.. infact we could make sure we specifically dont buy those brands shown during the game in ads. Steve Waugh once was disgusted as well and said it was an insult to the people watching the game, the commentators, which it is.

There is of course, the remote button that can be made good use of at the end of each over !
There indeed are a few good channels that are not part of the cartel of channels that show ads in tandem !!
Actually, there is little need for any resolution not to buy anything that is advertised during matches. Very few people notice which items are being advertised, let alone the brand of the item !!
Prices of all commodities and services by sponsers will rocket skyhigh.Govt. will have a huge taxes-duties from WC to squander and yet increase taxes -direct and indirect - in the next budget to bridge ever standing 'Budget Deficit'
