can any one calculate the amount of money will espn make, 24 lakhs per second, 2 mins of break in between overs, comes around 10800 sec per over, 1080 * 24 lakhs = 2592000000

Do they telecast football for free. Atleast in India u can watch Cricket for free in DD but in Europe/US all r pay per view and only few can afford them. Imagine a mediocre player like Beckham getting 50 million $ pay packet and clubs changing hands for billions of dollars. Cricket money is peanuts compared to football

there is no credidibility to any game of cricket nowadays ! all of them know the language of money ! and nuthin else ! games and sports r no longer just for entertainment and competition !!
and the poor viewers would continue to suffer ...the way cricket is administered in india, viewers interest whether on tv or at stadium is always ignored conveniently ...

there are crtain guidelines for the cricket telecast and between ads if any one have that kindly post
The money collected should be given to the families of farmers who have committed suicide in the last 10 years. The agriculture minister is more concern with minting money on cricket then saving the precious life of our fellow countrymen.
