by Vikas Sharma on Feb 02, 2011 12:13 PM

Mr PM,
I would say tha you have lose your integrity and respect from Nation. It seems that you are not more than a dummy. You can stop corruption if you become yourself and be honest with your job. Otherwise people of India will revolt against this corrupt government led by Dummy.

What a eye wash
by Ajay on Feb 02, 2011 12:11 PM

It will be again an eye wash,so far many of such guidelines/drafts/agendas have been adopted and what is happening from last 60 years u all know.

In India there is no lack of policies, rules, regulation ,etc.Only thing is they are not properly followed, applied.
Laws, rules, regulation are applied only on poors, who dont have any political backing, money support or mafia support. For all others laws ,rules are like their "Chappals" they can easily change, modify, break them.

So gud luck India, one more law/agend is joinig the already existing thousands of law/agendas only to go into Vain .

Jai Ho

The most important steps to be taken are as follows:
1. Make laws clear and remove any discretionary clauses
2. Clearly lay down the criteria and documents required for any clarification. T%His will enable decisions to be taken at more levels than only at the top.
3. No political interference in any decision which can be taken by the officer dealing with them matter.
4.All important applications requiring several levels of sanctions should be numbered and put up on a computer with date of receipt. All stages of approvals should be time lined and if delayed the officer concerned should be pulled up. THis application should be followed up by someone from the PMO to ensure that the file is moving according to the time frame. With clear notings and all correct documentation, it should be easy to either accept the proposal or reject it on clear grounds.
5. Officers should be held accountable and their record should be linked to their performance.
6 Officers who fail in their duties or are found to be corrupt should be demoted or dismissed. Sec 311 of Constitution should be scrapped.
7 No automatic promotion based on time but only on performance record.
8 Senior officers should be given a minimum of three years in any posting and no political interference in their transfers.
9. Professionals should be appointed in technical ministries such as power, pwd environment, finance, industry and allied ministries.
10. Desizing of Govt departments should be done to reduce Govt expenditure

As the first & foremost step to route out the corruption, the anti-corruption depts/bodies/agencies should be revamped & reconstituted with officials of proven integrity since if these corruptions expected to combat the corruption themselves prove succeptible to pressures & politics it amounts to only the fence grazing the crop of the field. One needs to be made clear & signals should be sent to those involved earlier too that the arms of the law are very long & even the retired corrupt officials who made hay while in power cannot go scot free without being booked for what they did.Intensive probe/investigations should be made into their life styles especially the ceremonial expenditure incurred in regard to the education/marriages of their children.Preposterous spending in utter disregard to their lawful income should be viewed very seriously & the those found guilty should be put behind bars mercilessly regardless of their age.The entire process of trial should be very swift enough. There are several corrupt officials found spending openly beyond their means. At the same time govt should also propagate the need on the part of the giver to shun it & bylaw, make them also a party to the corruption charges. The giver is equally responsible as the taker, but needs to be viewed a bit leniently as,at times,it becomes necessary for them to grease the palms-especially in the context of again, corrupt appel

India has invested in you guys (IIT, IIM, et al) crores of rupees in educating you to the best international standards. Providing you the best facilities for education. This money came from tax payers of India.

You as IIT and IIM graduates are highly regarded by Indian industry and Indian society. You are of course highly regarded by international MNCs as well.

Some of you have provided mother India your honest and sincere service in scientific, technology and management fields. Some of you have gone abroad and made good name for India

The hard working people of India have brought India to a point where India is now recognized as good world citizen with huge economic potential.

In order for India to climb even higher economic heights and provide opportunities to millions of people, India needs to keep the momentum of its economic growth at least at 10% every year for another 50 years. However the evil of CORRUPTION is becoming heavy on the hard working people of India. Corruption is also causing enormous losses to the tax payers, which in turn hurts the poor people of India.

Now, India needs your help. With all your brilliance and dedication, can you guys not come up with a perfect solution to solve our corruption problem? If you put your heads and hearts to it, I am 100% confident that you guys will be able to come up with some practical solution to this vexing problem.

India needs your help, please raise to the occasion. Please save Mother India.

Solutions are simple and many but WHO SHALL IMPLEMENT THEM?

ALL WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE ARE INVOLVED ONE WAY OR OTHER

ONLY SOLUTION IS NAV NIRMAN MOVEMENT WHICH REMOVED INDIRA GANDHI

OR WHICH IS WORKING IN COUNTRY LIKE EGYPT ASWELL!!

ARE YOU READY FOR THAT?

Anti-Corruption

None of the efforts will be fruitful if there is no political will. Right now there is no political will. Every thing - right or wrong, good or bad - starts from the top. When we have criminals getting elected and gettijg political support, how can the ruleof law be effectively implimented. No new programme and rules are needed, except for hastening the Judicial process. Better implimentation of existig rules are sufficient.

Even now, if the Govt is serious, let them take impartial action against the cases already detected. The punishment has to be so severe that it would be a lesson for all.

The guarantee of Job, especially in the Govt, to tainted employees must go. In cases of corruption, the person should just be dismissed and jailed and huge publicity must be given.

Does this Govt have what it takes to change things??? The answer would be a BIG NO. So, what they are now trying to say and do are just eyewash.

The actions that MMS will take would force the BJP to take remedial measures. People will accept nothing less.

BTW, why should the Congress keep wuite on corruption just because an opposition part did not take action against its own CM? Can the Congress not earn goodwill of the people by being different and better?

Why do people expect the opposition to promise anything. If the ruling party does what they should rightly (and anyway) be doing, the opposition will never get a chance.
