agree with u. Even after paying all sort of taxes what benefits we get none - govt schools and hospitals are in pathetic conditions so we spend our own money to get these faculities from pvt sector and moreover we pay service tax on this payment.

FM diverting real issues
by pavan rachakonda on Feb 02, 2011 10:30 AM

Finance minister diverting the Black money issue by increasing income slab limits such that middle class people can feel happy that they are saving more money.
Govt is not interested in solving real issues.
People's participation is neglected by official machinery and politicians.
Mass revolt by people doesn't happen as people do get some job or the other and satisfied with 3 times meals a day.
Revolution limited only at election time once in 5 years.

As long as Congress is in power no relief for anybody. Whatever tax they collect the divide in between and give Soniaji Gandhiji i.e. bahu of Indiraji Gandhiji and wife of Rajviji Gnadhiji. As all are carrying name Gandhiji no problem. Italian leady is also keeping congress standard i.e. divide and rule. They have make many parties and they are all fighting in between them. Indira Gandhi created shivsena and sonia created MNS. Whey there is no unity in between opposition. As long as we do not understand our own problem nobody can help us. Who is these leaders and how they are being elected. We, the fool public go and vote for them and they win with our votes and comes to rule us. Whatever, they say we just hear and no reaction. We poor people pay tax in the name professional tax, service tax, sales tax income tax property tax, etc. etc. out of our salary 80% goes as tax. Is anybody aware of these things. In swiss bank 280 lac crores of rupees lying. This money belongs to Indian leaders. If this money brought to India, we can live without tax for 60/70 years

Most of the stuff in the article can be repeated every year only to replace the numbers and finance minister's name (in case there is a change).

Govt may hike tax exemption limit !!
by Prakash Chandra on Feb 02, 2011 10:06 AM

As if, this corrupt chor govt. is doing any big favour for tax payers. If they can co-relate and fix the prices of any commodity like fuel, services etc on price index, why can't they co-relate and fix the income tax on inflation index ? But their only aim is to collect as much tax as possible and then hatch a scandal.

SOME HELP FOR PSU RETIRED OFFICIALS
by SRIDHAR RAGHUNATHARAO on Feb 02, 2011 10:03 AM  | Hide replies

The retired officials of Central Government owned PSU's neither gets any monthly pension nor covered by any medical facility. Let alone CGHS scheme not even ESI is applicable to them. Their terminal benefit of PF ( their own savings ) and Gratuity ( Revised to Rs 10 lakhs only with effect from 24-05-2010 while Government staff got from 01-01-2006 ) are the only saviours for the rest of their life. Everyone knows the present cost of living and the reduced returns on term deposits.
We therefore sincerely request Finance Minister/Union Government to provide some facilty to this class of their own staff a fair deal at par with other retired Central Government Staff

You are concerned about the public sector employees who are paid well for doing nothing while people working in private companies work like dog and get paid only a fraction of their salary. Just consider govt vs private school teachers. the private school teachers dont even get the retirement benefit let alone the LTAs, HRAs etc that govt school teachers get.

I fully agree with you. First of all the govt should implement strict population policy irrespective of religion. It must stop all kind of subsidies given to minorities and families having mroe than max. 2 childern. This only if implemented, will solve 80% problems of this country.
