Something really wrong with the economics - new research in this area is need for calculating the GDP etc; US under this false impression of economy did some major blunder and now they are in trouble; so as some countries of Europe;

Why cant a completely independent economic model be developed for nation which is self sustain, non-dependent on other nations/resources etc etc. What we don't have to live ourselves or to develop those things for which we are dependent.

Good thought. If we overcome shortterm effects of this economic model. Well this could be the best. But in a demacracy like India it may be difficult to implement.
Just a reminder, the Enron which was the epitome of corruption and was also operating in India was at the time rated very high at the time of its bankruptcy.
These ratings cannot be 100% correct, everybody knows that US and Europe are no longer drivers of the world and also not the youngest, just benefciaries of 100s of years of lead in terms of industrialization and colonization of Asia and Africa provided cheap labor and commodities for their industries.
Around 1700, India and China were the biggest economies and the tide has turned nearly full circle.
even BBB rating is high for India. India should get CCC rating bcoz anyone investing in India can be sure that their money will go into the pockets of one of the politicians
