The words used by premji are vague and routine
by Rajendra Gupta on Apr 29, 2011 05:48 AM

What is required is Danda. No one is taking action against any officer in India now since Manmohan has come because MM Singh is epitome of moral decay in politics, corruption and leaderless government. He is not an expert he is symbol of serious disease.Unless officers are prosecuted, dismissed ,public complaints are made part of officers personal file and law is changed to confiscate assets of corrupt officers and their wives/husbands and 10 time penalty is levied on amount involved with at least 10 years prison no change will come. All courts and offices must observe time limits after which the application should be treated as accepted.National movement has to start where people slap a corrupt babu at whatever post and gherao them, ridicule them, boycott them and publish their names on Internet.People must take power in their hands as appointed babus and elected politicians are turned crminals and looters.

Only one solution. Shoot the culprits in front of the public within a week. After 11th death leaders will be afraid of doing any scandals. They will stop looting our money.

Why India is on sale?
by Prasanna Thyamagondlu on Apr 29, 2011 12:06 AM

India has now turned capitalist from earlier socialism. Why?
Indians generally did not pay taxes. That includes all classes with the exception of salaried class.
Indian Government started allowing foreign investments in 1990s & started selling off India in 2000s to any highest bidders.
Government now had excess cash returns.
Now the politicians realised more money to government means more money to themselves.

The result is todays India in which common man is a hamster & all the rich capitalist companies own everything by forced sale or illegal means.

TATA encroached 1000s of acres of forest land for tea estates. Infy took 1000s of acres land for peanuts in every major city of India. Reddys mined into hectares of forest land & mountains disappeared in mining. Black money was propagated into market. Indian OIL resources were sold to BP thru' reliance & reliance made all the profit.

What needs to be fixed now? Indians OR Indian capitalism?

Holy Premji
by Prasanna Thyamagondlu on Apr 28, 2011 11:53 PM  | Hide replies

Everyone knows by now how the IT industry has made truckloads of money while paying very less tax, looting the real estate & has indirectly helped the sky rocketing of essential commodities. Common man has to generate huge amounts to pay taxes, tolls & cannot afford land/house anymore without resorting to illegal means.

Corruption is a reciprocal function of patriotism. Indians see their personal gains beyond the interest of the country. A typical example is that some of the Indian airports are operated by foreign companies. The governments, political parties, administration, judiciary everything is you see is corrupt. You cannot clean anything with an unclean cleaning cloth (Tolstoy).
What do you clean Indian system with?
Premji's advice?
Greedy Premji takes 85% of what one lakh plus Wirpo engineers generate.
Premji in the past had cases on him on stock market manipulation & cases of violation of foreign currency from enforcement directorate.

We need to first find the cleaner to clean the Indian system.

if he is taking 85% of what engineers generate then it is his business model....don't forget the engineers are generating because the platform is being provided by wipro and likewise other companies....

I always tell my friends who are in IT if you so capable tht you always blame your employer then why don't you leave your employer and go on your own....

see it is easier said then done....

engineers know this very well when they are joining....

why do the freshers agree for 3-4 lakhs per annum package? No according to you they should ask for 10-15 lakhs....once they get some niche experience and when they become important for a client's project they will start showing thr tantrums....same old story mate...if you have guts go and find another employer....

Another case of slave attitude. You probably did not live in developed nations who gave you the IT work & work culture.
Premji & Ambanis inherited an empire. Dhirubhai bribed & corrupted the system.
Not everyone is born to become a businessman. Not everyone has to become businessmen to criticize & raise against injustice.
Do you respect only your Dad for earning?
Indian, Get some self respect for yourself & your education.

No Job Security for IT people in Developed nations. Whatever money you earn, will go out in Developed nations because of the cost of living. A person has to work for life time in order to survive in developed nation until and unless he is a farmer. At present, I dont think that is the case in india, you can live happily by earning 5k bucks per month if you opt to stay in rural area.

Is a role model for younger generations. he is very right that the Indian media only sticks to headlines. They have almost no concept of sustained investigative reporting. Even The Hindu did a stellar job with the Bofors but is afraid of investigating the DMK and AIADMK but

Mr.Premji's Anti corruption Formula
by Debasish Sarkar on Apr 28, 2011 11:29 PM  | Hide replies

Is riddle with Flaws.
My few tips here how to make it flawless~
1. Bring back Black moneys stashed away in Swiss Banks (of course by leagal means).
2. Abolish Higher denomination of currency notes (Sp.1000 Rupees, 500 Rupees, and 100 Rupees Notes from circulation), recall them within 90 days. and issue notes with small denominations. In the mean time Big money transactions should be done through Bank Cheques and Draft in transperant manner.
3. Nationalized unaccounted moneys and properties.
4. Bring death sentences on Corrupt politicians and Corrupt corporators.

I have only one formula to remove corrouption
We can bring together good good corruptless politicians, Social Workers,Civil Servants etc to join a single party aiming only to remove corruption. Only slogan " Remove Corrouption". Bring them power atleast for five years and they will root out all corruptions from India. Media can play a great role to bring them together. We need one more Anna Hazare to go for fasting to bring them together and to form a " Corruptless Society." This is my simple formula to rootout the corruption. E= MC2

the real voter....!
by Nitesh Mittal on Apr 28, 2011 10:13 PM  | Hide replies

India VOTERS ; the real voter who is deprived of food, shelter, water, clothes are only concerned which minister can provide them at least one of these. they vote for that.
They are concerned for the next time roti not which minister is corrupt or incompetent.
It is only the educated society ("who dont cast their voting right") understands the difference between corrupt and incompetent, my frnd.

Exactky Nitesh and that makes me doubt if democracy can survive in this country.
I think Election Commission should focus on encouraging middle class to vote. For e.g: they should provide every middle class voter to vote online if one has UPN number, a scanning machine to scan and validate finger prints. They can charge Rs 100 for this.

Basically they should provide flexibility to vote so that it is not a one day thing to vote but a few hours thing and an easy thing.

If I got this idea Election commission would have thought about it but I am not sure what is holding them back. As you know we do not get real news out.

Indian Media needs to be learn and improve drastically
by jay b on Apr 28, 2011 09:32 PM

Premjis words mean a lot for the current India media who have been repeatedly blamed for Paid and dry news lacking any details and near to no analytical content.

Like mentioned he has flayed Indian media for focusing only on 'headlines' rather than the issue, compared to the United States media, which he said gives a comprehensive report on a particular matter.

Indian media needs to grow up and stop focusing on Paid news only.
