Good for India
by Vamsee Godavarthi on Sep 21, 2010 03:15 AM

This is good for India, this has come as an expense to hyderabad because of that useless PC Home Minister. He single handedly destroyed Andhra pradesh's prospects for grwoth by handling the telangana issue the wrong way.

Its frustrating for all people from Andhra Pradesh, as it was once the IT campion of India, now its become a 2nd tier destination...
thanks to our useless politicians. Congress Sucks...

kolkata rising
by subho das on Sep 18, 2010 08:13 AM  | Hide replies

slowly but steadily kolkata rising again. Kolkata has become third highest GDP(150 billion)generator marginally after Mumbai & Delhi, experiencing 70% of growth in IT sector which is double of national growth. Now it has become one of the top job generators. Instead of political problem Kolkata is rising. Kudos to all x-gen bengalis, who are changing the perception of india towards bengalis. Even few days back Rahul Ghandhi has admitted the growth of bengal/kolkata.

Metropolis
by Guest on Sep 18, 2010 05:30 AM  | Hide replies

Chennai is a good city and has the advantage over others because its also a port city. Lots of lovely beaches all along the coast of TN. I still miss those beaches, though its nowadays crowded. When cities like delhi, kolkata, hyderabad, bangalore are choking with their infrastructures, chennai has a lots of breathing space and room for more infrastructures.

I agree. Most here dismiss Chennai in one line as it is too hot. I lived there for one year on assignment. Grabbed the opportunity because I loved beaches. I went there knowing it was hot and fixed air conditioner on second night of stay itself. Except that I encountered no other problem. Maybe the horrible auto guys but luckily I didn't depend on them. On the other hand, guys from Delhi, Bangalore have no idea what Chennai's beaches are. Great coastline, great waves. But I liked only Eliot beach and Mahabalipuram beach. They were clean, decent crowd and less polluted. Other than beaches I liked great shopping experience. Great discounts. Superb malls like Spencer Plaza and City Center. Chennai is also good for non-vegetarian food.

From where did you get this perception. M.P. has a good number of good cities such as Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur etc. and these cities are inhabited by good friendly people. From your comments it seems you have a very poor knowledge of Indian States and its people. M.P. is a mini India and a lot of people speaking different languages are living peacefully. Little bit of infracture development is required in these cities and the present Govt. is doing their best.

India is going to be (or is it already) full of Public Toilets which we call Cities& take pride in announcing our growth. The bubble will burst one fine morning (like USA & West, but for different reasons) & India will have nowhere to go. Our Ministers,MPs,MLAs,IAS,IPS, IRS etc. are all interested in their growth only & never alround growth. No one has the least idea how to go about to develop INdia & hence no wonder, everyone is working double overtime, for their personal growth. Politicians in 1000s of crores, Officials in 10s of crores, 3 letter captains in 100s of crores. This is what India vision 2020.
