dude, look at the 100s of towns of india..not all ppl there are corrupt. the places look bad bcos the officials have little idea how to maintain towns. money is there in plenty..
you look at small european town..they dont have vast sums of money. they have regular maintain schedule, citizens are informed of what to do and what not to do, they make effort to make town look pleasant and attractive. indian officials are now getting paid quite well in govt. but still efforts are mediocre.
how much money do u need for town desingns nowadays? ZERO!! you can just do internet search and get 10000s of pictures !!!ANY MORON CAN DO IT..ONLY INDIAN CANT !!!

Why Indian Govt. Invest Rs. 70,000 Crs in CWG ?
by itz Scorpion on Oct 31, 2010 12:08 PM  | Hide replies

I think Indian Govt. is fooling poor in this country. Bcuz presently in India more poor people are living under salary Rs. 3,000 per month with no other facilities. Why not invest this Rs. 70,000 Crs project in given some facilities to poor people in India. like free hospitals, pension, donation, Loans, Jobs etc

SWISS GOVERNMENT IS THE MOST CORRUPT
by anita sen on Oct 31, 2010 09:24 AM  | Hide replies

Swiss banking law has the most corrupting influence for the misery of the poverty stricken billions of the earth. The fruit of their toil is stacked away by a few with the help of this law alone. Why the swiss citizens can not repeal the law is just selfishness and greed of the people of that country to remain rich at the cost of the poor masses of the world.

CORRUPTION
by Rameshwar dad on Oct 31, 2010 06:48 AM  | Hide replies

Transperancy and responsibilty fixing can reduce it. Responsibility with right will do it. Here every officer do have right but don't have any responsibility. An example is that expences for road construction & maintenance will be in right of Officers but don't have any responcsibility about the work done and its maintenance. If these responsibilites were also linked and proper public monitoring mechanism is developed with powers most of the corruption project even will not begain. The case of CWG why the cost is increased so and who sanctioned it. games were over well will not justifying the increase in cost from 150 Crores (As per ex-Sports minister)reaches to 70,000 Crore? Is it justified if in the same ratio own work of comptent authorities increase? What they will do? Is they even recommend that in their reports? Why the policy of DDA flats was disclosed now for diversion of these flats for Inspection agency staff? What they think common man cannot understand it?

Making RTI applications by mail and displaying the answers on govt netso that people can view it,will help to reduce corruption. All corruption cases should cleared within a month. We should have ministers like our Prime Minister. All parties should learn from him.
