Agreed. Inspite of severe congestion and almost no breathing space, it is still a fascinating place. Credit goes to all Marathi Manoos - very friendly people.

Mumbai is exceptional. no one can take away the importance of Mumbai. it wont break whatever you do..it may not be clean but still the richest and poorest can make a living..

This is the biggest problem of Mumbaikars that they dont know what is actually a good city means. Mumbai is just like a dirty garbage box but our Mumbaikar do not stop praising the city even though. Mumbaikars only know two things very well....i) Keep on praising the city no matter how bad it is and ii) Keep on blaming the outsiders for every odds. Mumbaikars always condescend as if they r the only people in the whole world who allowed outsiders to work there. They forgot that there r many bigger & better cities in the world giving employment & better living conditions to people came from every corner of the world.

we from Bangalore should be proud for the developments done by HDD & HDK during their regime; we got Metro;BIAL;NICE;BDA; we will also get good Infrastructure. HDD always talk about Land.

Chennai is growing bcause of foreign investments and a history of solid tamil and tamil speaking telugu establishments whch make everything from tractors to silcion chips. It has nothing to do with north indians. for your info Cognizant the fastest growing it company was founded by a tamil Kumar Mahadeva.You can remove all the gujus ans marawaris who are miniscule in number here ,and chennai will probably prosper faster .

Mumbai would have been toped list provised parochial sentiments of the Shiva Sena and support extended by the marathi people. They don't think our country first but feel their state is first since these elements give them the job opportunities.

Every big city has outsiders as well. whats new in that. Mumbai is far better than delhi in all aspects
Real life lies in small towns and villages!!!! here people are simple,more cooperative and selfless!! life is slow n easy going ,children are at peace and get to do everything unlike in cities were you lock ur kids 24/7!!! most small towns n villages are now provided with basic facillities unlike say about 20 yrs back!! Like the famous JOHN DENVER SONG.... TAKE ME HOME COUNTRY ROADS ......
