Not possible Corporators fighting among themselves rather than pushing administration for commencing work. Everything depends upon Ajit Pawar
I live just a road away from the metro lane...the construction work is happenning so fast that in one week 100s of trees were axed down and all the neighboring parks became the dumpyard...the strech from South End Circle to Sangam Circle was turned into some hi-fi China city...anyways we are only tolerating all this for the cause of city's ease at the sickest traffic jams..which was very rare on this strech....

Trees being cut in Bangalore? Worries me. It is greenery which makes Bangalore livable. I have visited the place several times, and already I can feel the city becoming hotter
Why Pune is not in the list? Pune need Metro as it is the city with highest number of two wheelers and soon going to become the city with highest no. of four wheelers. Traffic on road is too heavy. Pune shold implement Metro system in the city

Pune Metro Organising Committee is being established under Suresh Kalmadi after he is kicked out of the CWG/IOA. You can look forward to a metro within 5 years of his ultimate demise. Apologies in advance - I have nothing against Pune but just could resist it!

Dear Narendra, Its easy to be sarcastic and have fund ay somebody's expense. Mr. Kalmadi has done a lot for the Development of Pune City ever since the National Games were organised there in the 90's. That is why he is a long-serving MP from Pune. Delhi has also benfitted from the C'wealth games being organised there. If you stop being cynical and contribute a little positively, you too can make a difference LOL!
Indira Gandhi Nagar (Jagatpura) will be the highly populated area in Jaipur in coming years. So that one metro train for that area also should be given.

Clean the city first and then talk about Jaipur Metro. Just walk and see the road that leads to the Museum it is a nasty thing where beggars and vagabonds lying on either side of the road.
