Pune Tier II -?
by Abhijit on Oct 02, 2010 03:29 AM  | Hide replies

It is surprising that it is still Tier II city.
Historic,
Education Hub (40 Universities, Largest Nr of students in India),
Automobile Hub (Bigger than Madras), Population (50 to 75 Lacs),
Defense Instituions,
Public Secotr,
Huge revenue generation.

What else is needed?
I think it is purposefully not declared in Tier I by govt, otherwise HRA & other benefits of Metro cities will need to be given to common employees of pubic & private sector.

how come left out ,, was it biased or with an intention to show-case other cities (who bow to centre) .. Hyederabad & Bangalore both are job creating in terms of IT, pharma, industries, business (either clothes or food) since andhra is the biggest producer of rice ,, surveyors need to be free of influence when cheking these things ,, anyhow ,, may all prosper & may nobody be left behind ,, MAY INDIA GROW OVER ALL ,,

98% money they made by selling consulting viz bribing clients, exploiting engineers and manipulating stock prices.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES
by THEKKA DAMODARAN on Oct 01, 2010 08:45 PM

Though all the Metros are opening up more jobs opportunities for Engineers/IT candidates etc., no opportunities are available for re-employment of ex-Defence officials and others who quit Govt service for taking up attrative jobs for their career betterment. Hope that some reputed MNCs/other major companies would try to help these categories (ex-Defence Official) by way of opening suitable job opportunities and thereby gain their expertise for the betterment of such indenting Organisations.
