RDSO quality control department of Indian railways is full of currupt people. Pay RDSO people and get clearance for sub-stadard rail coach/wagans built by various companies in India.

Stop moaning! Wake up
by shiva on Nov 20, 2010 06:51 AM

Every news item brings-up ceaseless blame games and moanings. Things are bad, it is going to be worse etc etc!! Yes, we are having problems. Those who feel really, should step on the ring and feel the heat. Be the change! Ask not what India can do for you but do what you can do for our mother land! If nothing, just accept the reality!!

No pains, no gains - as simple as that! Can we accept orders like Chinese do, vacate the land, when told to!! We have many who ceaselessly chatter and they have to shut-up. Tv programmes will become govt taboos just used for propaganda! All are entitled to one view!!

These are prices to pay for matching-up with the dragon!! If prepared, then form a party and get voted-in; after that, ban all political activities and take over the reins! One cannot have the egg and the omelette! For vegetarians, the sugar and candy!!

the difference is, while China don't have a long history of being colonized, we have. Don't forget we were ruled by one foreign invader or the other for a 1000 years.

indian rail first needs to increase ticket fare
by ravi kumar on Nov 20, 2010 12:47 AM

Due to regressive policies of netas of this country we are going down the drain. Railway fare is reduced every year by 1 Rs for vote, which I think hardly counts even for a poor fellow. Hadn't it been better if govt would have allowed certain Kms free for poor people. It should have charged more and build up a research facility for world class transport and rail. But alas indian govt has always played the politics of scarcity. Why is there only 1 rajdhani plying the tracks today why not 5 rajdhani's. There is so much mad rush for tickets people hardly get tatkal tickets for which charges are at least double the normal reservation charges!!! Is govt blind??? Why it doesn t see what makes economic sense. But alas if only gunda and mawali come to rule the country and state certainly no development can be expected. This century belongs to china. India will just be watching from sidelines.

The Democracy
Indian technology
by The Democracy on Nov 19, 2010 11:55 PM  | Hide replies

63 years since Indian independence. India still needs to go to France and Italy to start high speed trains. India still needs to buy Russian MIG and MI planes and helicopters that kill lot of trained pilots every year without fail.

What was the purpose of setting up IITs, so called center of excellence? To create finest engineers so that India could make all its technology at home or to create waste products that would suck huge amount from govt and mnc employers, on sweat of non-IIT guys, using the brand name of the institute? 60 years passed since the institution was started. Crores of public money still goes to those black hole institutions every year.

(Someone will now reply to this message pointing out I couldn't clear JEE, so a loser. They know all except technology.)

Politicians are also not interested to grow technology at home, because for every deal with foreign country, crores of bribe goes into their pockets.

Ministers love MIG/MI as those planes/choppers provides guaranty to crash every year. Then more MIG/MI s are needed. So, more bribe money. Pilots are biggest losers in MIG deals as spokespersons say always the MIG/MI crashes for pilots don't know how to fly those sophisticated planes/choppers. Joke?

Why not make MIG/MI official carriers for all ministers if they like MIG/MI so much?

Indian companies are for reserved categories. Government is the only institution with deep pockets. With the pockets being pilfered by corrupt officials, we will go nowhere. This is more true now because a non-corruptible PM stands silenced owing to coalition dharma.

Fast travel will save time... Time save is money... Infact building those tracks will employ people to work... thats money... money is not wasted when people work... Infact money is worthless if it isn't converted to work... real economy is work...useful work!
