if it really had been 5% to rest of the parties, they would have brought congress to its knees in the 5 years of their rule! Unfortunately it is pretty equally divided.

The country can recover the total money. for instance Karunanidhi came from the slum, and his family members none of them worked any where. but amassed wealth like telecom scams many more pwd, power, real estate, industries, cement, textiles, media, news print, TV, entertainment, massage parlours, unisex saloons, etc., on benami each day they did. amaassed rupees in thrillions with this family. similarly dmk party councilor to central minister level earned billions of rupees. Government should use effective (no caste reservation) judiciary and machinery's IT, CBI, ED, RAW to probe each & every politician, burocrat their kin & kith, relative benami assets notify, confiscate and give to Indian treasury. Like bold lady Indira gandhi how she scrapped princely states royality, confiscated their wealth in urban land ceiling, tax heavy dose over night they became slum people. similarly now people to revolt to do legislation so that one VP singh will emerge to put them in jails and confiscate ill gotten properties to the need poor.

What is the source of this figure and who compiled it? It is a small research agency based in the US and the timing is very convenient. Rediff as usual is passing off American propaganda against the Indians. This shows the dangers of allowing investment by foriegners in national media.
I think the actual amount should be more than this. Think about the money that Raja and DMK thugs have sent to other countries in the past 1 year using 2G scam.. it is a colossal $35 billions. Pro-rate this for the past 60 years and think about the amount of money that Kongies have in other countries.. it should cross $ 1 trillion ($1000 billions)...

the united nations should impose a 10% tax per annum on all numbered name-suppressed swiss bank account deposits, divert the money for the upliftment of the extremely poor sections in all countries of the world, executed by the countries and monitored by uno executives. unfortunately, switzerland has chosen not to be a member of the uno.
