If Government does not know how to do business, no point staying in business. Good Government must show profits . or else they disqualify to participate in next Govt. or disqualify to contest election.
Raja motto is "more companies and competition, less call rate", He brought more companies for competition that whats today call rate is 1paise/per second. Operator like Airtel,reliance,Aircell and Idea are getting much more profit as telecom operator. When Raja entered cabinet, he has given first check to this operators by strenthern BSNL. And he brought more companies like uninor,videocon hence competition happened, call rate reduced. Now this 2G allocation, he has given more license for small companies. Note here, small companies cannot install tower and other equipment to transfer voice over network. But big companies like airtel,reliance,vodafone have widers network equipment. So small companies must have to use BSNL network hence bsnl may get rent from small telecom companies.
Suppose, Big operators like Airtel,vodafone,Reliance,Tata got spectrum which worth 1.7 lacks crore, Is it possible them to earn money with current tariff plan?? which is currently highly enjoyed by commen men??? My question is, How companies make profit over 1.7 crores without increasing call rate,sms rate??. If we go less call rate which does not affect common men and at the same time govt. also earn 1.7 lacks crore then Raja is culprit and he should be hanged in front of the public. If govt will earn 1.7 lack crores but call rate will increase to get back the money which makes common people suffer then what is the worth of 1.7 laks crores?

Gentlemen, few companies who got licence sold the same at a high rate and never operated their licence. Because you pay less does not give a freedom to do corruption. As per your argumentwhat ever money (greasing) being paid in for any government jobs is not a corruption. if so why we have CAG, CVC and otehrs which is a waste of money as per your view

Sold their share, not money. Remember it is share value. It can change any time. Changing share to money is just not possible until unless company get more customer and get revenue. Long way to go..

After geting 2G licence the licence holder immediately sell the same to others on 10 times more the value they paid.

Good argument .But why is DMK and Raja always on the defensive and not openly challenging others in this issue .Raja could have resigned earlier and allowed a through probe in to this and once having got his name cleared could have re entered the cabinet .

Either u are a fool or Raja himself. Go Check the 3G tariffs of tata. they are lower than 2g of BSNL. So Raja gave spectrum to real estate agennts so that call rates can fall is it?

Why BJP was not taken to task by media when CAG pointed out in 2000. Why SC did not raise issue then. Who started this non auction method. If auction is followed will call rates be so low. Are telcos doing social service. They will recover from users. Then why target present minister. Loss due to concession in excise, loss due to concession in corporate tax etc are also corruption? Raja paid price because he is from DMK, he broke cartel lobby.

Did the BJP pre-close the bid dates? Did the BJP violate the norms and give licenses to cos which had nothing to do with telecom?
Nationalize the companies, Guilty have to spend rest of their life in Jail and the punishment for causing loss to the Nation is : Corporate Owners and their Kin will not get any thing out of it in the Nationalizations Process.

Companies will run as usual. When a private company gets Nationalized, its new owner will be Government (Means we the public). It’s just ownership will change. You will get your salaries and your phones will function in normal. This should be a punishment for greedy corporate.

This government is not run by Indira Gandhi.She was forthright is taking decisions.Here Sonia spends most of her time only in pampering and consoling the alliance partners.That's the reason for this bungling.
A common man should stay away from using such companies products. Any body who uses their product is also getting particiapted in this corruption. So stay away from these companies and their products.
For ure own regional parties to save ure culture, language from aryan invaders.. TN has been doing it for 50 yrs... and will do it for another 1000 Yrs and still TN has the highest HDI value for any BIG state in India....
