2 way equal job creation is impossible
by Deepak on Nov 10, 2010 05:23 PM

It was America who started the concept of capitalism whose roots lie profit making only..Even if India buys some turbines or whatever it could not create even 1tenth of jobs America is creating in India..American leaders are aware of that but because they are funded by industrialists outsourcing will continue..Today its India..tommarow it may be Africa..Ghana...Egypt.

Political Rhetoric

Although no one should discount the hardship and uncertainty faced by an individual who has lost his or her job, nothing is that black and white. The popular misconception is that outsourcing always means job loss and a windfall profit for the company doing the outsourcing. A more accurate perspective is that for companies, it is often a matter of staying afloat or struggling to grow, not getting windfalls, and with regard to jobs – when economies are not stifled by protectionism – job losses and gains tend to balance out. Please see more at my blog post at Law Without Borders.

Furthermore, those American companies with manufacturing and service set-ups abroad haven't made these arrangements to take advantage of the tax deferral. They have done it because of lower operational costs, or because of the proximity to target markets, or for other reasons that may have nothing to do with tax breaks or outsourcing of jobs. Changing the tax code to remove the deferral will only create a barrier that will reduce the ability of U.S. companies to compete in today's global marketplace. If the U.S. government offers incentives and tax credits to companies that create more jobs for the American workforce, that might help a bit.

Why can't Americans move to developing nations and work there?

havent you seen the masked gunmen in Afpak and others controlling the drones. precisely the money for that comes form Arab oil and dhirubhai's children buying GE turbo engines. The US citizen dies, gives employment to the coffinmaker in UK, handouts to the afghan citizen who lifts the coffin and a night flight of pain to an US pilot. for a live military person to go to Afpak twenty people or more get jobs. A dead soldier also gets another different twenty to get some jobs. All are working or rather everything izz working Here only

indian money goes and comes back

American jobs created 50,000.
Thru business of 10 billion USD. Reliance leads the way.
Each American gets US govt or company to pay average 70,000 USD per annum salary.
If this euphoria business lasts one year, 3.5 billion dollars will have to be paid as salaries. The US government takes back as tax about a third or close to one Billion Dollars. The US government earns money and gets jobs for its citizens thanks to ARM Indian aarmy (for defence deals to modernize the Indian defence and other loot operators in India.)
As outsourcing, for every 60,000 USD per annum per employee billed to US clients by Infy, TCS etc (at USD 15 plus other expenses per hour in India plus other costs and at 2000 hours per year) , Indian companies pay only 20,000 USD max to its employees (includes all costs) on such projects. Companies pocket the difference and does not pay tax and does all fixing up of people, rates and services in the projects, the reason why truthful RAJU SATYAM is sick inside bars and stout when in money and in dance bars.

Indian government gets a measly tax from such software companies and the wealth is distributed to the many shareholders holding shares and makes money for the bears and bulls who don’t want to keep these shares.Sometimes it is easy to criticize Reliance for its money making ability, but the truth is ill gotten wealth some how feeds those American engineers and Indian software techies that want to earn money virtuously rather than begging or looting.leaving the big corporates to do the dirty work. So Anil Ambani and Narayan Murthy are friends somehow visciously.Caught in between these two money pots is the US government and its citizens. India Jai Ho.

Nice strategy....once again...
by Passed on Nov 09, 2010 09:23 PM  | Hide replies

First they forced us to open our market so that they can sell their products, we did that and learned what they need and provided them with our resources at cheaper price.

Than they complained that we are taking their jobs away. So we need to buy more from them to make sure that jobs which came to us remain with us. Are we going to comply???

Lets see.
Most of jobs that came to India have come from private firms which were looking ways to cut back their expenses. Government had no control over it.
Most of US companies know that India is a huge market with stable economy so they can not let go such a huge pie just for the sake of being patriotic (They are capitalist, remember).
The overall balance of transactions in pure dollar amount (that is comparison of how much India make from US and How much US makes from India) is still in favor of america. So no matter what they say or show, they can not hurt themselves.

We need to play some hard balls, which I am sure we played this time, to make our bid for UNSC permanent seat. We should value our own resources and should not bow down to west again. Remember they always came as sellers who are interested in trading with us, but we have made fool of ourselves in believing that that's their only agenda and let go our fences. This time we need to be more protective of our resources and need to control how they access it. Otherwise history will repeat itself.
