When all is said and done, PSUs are the best companies. TATA group is also good, but everyone knows that reliance is a criminal enterprise.

ANy time any day anywhere even in good or bad times, PSUs are best, because they always follow procedures, guidelines set by some regulator and been tracked minutely,SEE how Pvt cos almost killing BSNL being PSU. and Private Cos cant be fair honest otherwise they can't make profit at all,if they play by rules, because they need such quality people which hard to find and other red tape problem.Pvt cos means it has to cheat, only cheating degree varies.

U look a typical low IQ ,govt job fanatic.
PSU are most inefficient, corrupt & unprofessional co.s who are looting this country.
India is rising only because now few big private corporate house is rising & introduced some professionalizm/effieciency in Indian work force.

I agree. Nano is a disaster, and should be taken off the roads until proven safe. One can instead buy an old M800.

All PSU's are corrupt, inefficient & non performing.
Size doesn't speak about quality.
What ever India has acheived in last 20 yrs- courtsey private sector.
PSU's & low IQ corrupt mentality people like Zinda hoo, arun dassm rohit rath etc taking this country back.
Everey one knows where India was placed when everything was govt controlled.
All developed countries US/Europe privatized right from start.
If India also followed govt /PSU culture only- its fate will be same as failed state like pakistan/bangladesh

But if they dont make profits, how would they invest in finding more oil reserves, India is already dependent on other nations for oil. Also, the residual money that is left after investing from profits is ultimately government (i.e. public) money only, so it will be spent on public only.

salary of employees in PSU should be based on per employee net income.AS per record profit per employee is highest in corporation bank (Rs 11.02 lac) where as per employee net income of SBI is about Rs4.40lac yet employees of SBI getting higher pay than corporation bank

That is because subsidies dont flow in their profit and loss account. Government issues oil bonds to compensate them for subsidies.
