We thank Manmohan Singh...
by Bene Izraeli on May 14, 2010 03:58 PM  | Hide replies

he is the first pm under whom the salaried class earning under Rs.7 lakhs per annum have got a huge sigh of relief! the bogus and jobless party (bjp) and its nda govt (notorious dacoits & associates) NEVER not even once thought of giving such a relief to the middle class! now a man earning up to 6-7 lakhs per annum will be benefitting up to rs.55000 p a! i personally think 30% tax for above 10 lakhs is still not too bad. guy earning over 10 lakhs per annum shouldnt mind paying 30% tax. Jai Hind!

hey man.... how do u ignore the cost cutting and disinvestment measures taken during the NDA regime, the fruits of which were born by the UPA..???
Its easy to direct verbal assault out of personal likes/dislikes...but how can u disregard the measures taken by NDA in avoiding war, reducing govt. expenses, increasing govt. treasury and establishing a Nuclear state???
Kindly be educated that the worse of Economic crisis and Terrorism has happened during the UPA tenure... Let Common sense prevail..

HOwselfish, since you are falling in bracket of 6-7 lakhs you feel charging 30% to people earning above 10 lakhs is justified. thatway people earning 2-3 lakhs per annum feel charging 30% tax to even earners of 4-5 lakhs is justified.

Tax department is now like other corporate Houses with unreasonable target of collection of Tax diregarding the rate of Inflation and Economoc condition of the country. Only the common man with limited means suffer. Hight net inviduals have there ways to reduce their tax and department officials earn from them handsomely and Politicians enjoy their life to the extreme from our earnings. When an individual strugling to meet his expenses for education IT authority or Govt doest care about you but as soon as he gets a job even before the indivdual can pay of his hand loans IT authority comes up to take their share. It is realy shameful that we hav such a Finance Ministry.

Dear Sethu Raman I agree with your views but pls understand in westernsystem tax payers money are fully paid to tax payers in the form of education, health care and unemployed youth funding programmes, etc. Children have free education and free health care are provided. For eg if some loose his job till he gets another job part of the amount he paid as tax when he was working is provided. Tell me here the goverment tax all as tax and it is not paying anything back to tax payers if their job is lost.Instead in the name of providing to poor they provide free houses, free TV , free clothing, etc. Most of this so called poors are simply selling the houses,TVs and cloths for money and come back to Road to claim from Govt. Instead if the govt spend for the tax payers money in the proper way or atleast part of it for their welfare they won't raise concerns.
