When are we going to move from 'adoptation' stage to 'creation' stage? Upto now, we always adopt. Creation is the only way India can regain it's lost glory. It will make the people to come out from misery and poverty. They were doing nice engineering things in earlier days. The religion and it's god has given them a special status to work only for the certain sect of people who got this status by means of religion. It is time now to regain this excellence in engineering with newer concepts we acquired from outside world. Let us invent new way of living.

Globian? what is the matter with you!you are SO confused! the relief from poverty has NOTHING to do with ANY ofthe things you mention! The life systems and the CHAOS we see in the country is the reason for MAINTAINING the poverty levels! the primary source of wealth is EDUCATION and gainful employment!Religion is only a pathway for mutually benificial moral conduct and personal development! It is intensely personal!Politicians have hijacked it for their own short term gains and the emotive populace has been mislead like the rats were by the pied piper of Hamlin! Religion per-se is NOT to be blamed but the bigotry preached by the priests! here the issue is investment by an agency undeterred by fear of failure due to business friendly atmosphere in the state bcos of the efficiency of the CM of the state!Modi DOES deserve credit!also creditable is the marriage of evangelical ideals of the institution and to break even they do have to charge the rich and those who can afford to pay! That IS progress!instead of envy and intolerance of people who make money and create wealth WE should be educating the poor instead of merely paying lip service! They will then automatically work to earn a livelihood instead of begging for handouts, reservations and sops! all this takes time and there will NEVER be any miracles!

Unfortunately, we never moved to 1 from 0. We should stop living in past glory. History is good.... but present is reality.

It is wrong to say adoption is wrong! adaptation IS the driving force which is the engine of evolution! The roboticsurgeon is just a marriage of SEVERAL technologies to achieve the desired accuracy and excellance! so making generic negative comments denugeratingIndians or gujaratis is NOT heklpful!even investing in foreign technology ( rather than trying to reinvent the wheel a thousand times, which was the philosophy of Congress in 60s70s etc and was misleadingly given the lofty label of 'swadeshi') is wasting resources and time! the moral is dont work hard , work smart!

Guys, No arguements in saying that "Garud Vaahan / Pushpak Viman" was written in our age old Epics of Indian History, which means our Ancestors had already had the technology of Aeroplane but weren't having media like today or few years back to advertise to the world, but foriegn country's developed Media and Advertisement before they grew and started adopting all these technology from ancient epics from India and Advertised as if they Invented it as the world was still in dark about these inventions. Hence India and Indians Lacks appreciation for some amazing inventions. What I have written is just an iota of a example. Cheers! Jai Hind

Aam Admi, yes there are may charity hosptials in Nadiad such as Kidney Hosptial, Mahagujarat, Dharmsinh Desai Mission Heart Insititute, Civil Hosptial and over 50 private hosptials which are supported by Santram Mandir and other charity organizations.
Medical industry has become one of the major sources of economic activity in Nadiad.
MPUH Nadiad, better known as Nadiad Kidney Hospital is already the first Centre in India to have installed the Robotic HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) for treatment of prostatic cancer. The technology uses ultrasound to burn the cancer, which means there is no surgery involved. It is the least invasive treatment method for prostate cancer. MPUH being the pioneers in the field of nephro-urology, it is considered by many as the ultimate destination for treatment of kidney related diseases. P A Joseph
