Who needs real vote to govern? Prior to election parties fight independantly and each one votes according to their liking. Once elections over, the enemies join to form a govt. The poeple of the country has no choice, but sit and watch.

Maharashtra lost 83% of their business after Shiv Sena came in.. If it was not for them, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai would still be small cities..

Your first fact that maharashtra earns 83% of the country's economy is totally wrong. Can you give the source for your info? Its not even in the top 5 states with most GDP.

Never on infrastructure. China is size by itself and more or less equal to USA and entire Europe. Where is India to compete with China? If India has to stand and face eye to eye, we need to through our congress govts and communists and the so called mullah yadav, lallu yadav and many more spineless people. With them governing, India cannot even think of reaching China.

The chinese are the true masters of technology. The have been responsible for inventing many highly classic things. Gun powder is an invention of the chinese and so is tea. Its better india make friends with them rather than looking towards the western. Also chinese are Buddhists which makes them closer to hindus.

China has converted a hardcore regions into good civilised cities. So Bihar is not a big thing. If they take Arunachal Pradesh, almsot every industry will be setup in the region and they supply for entire India's requirement at half the cost. That is power and determination. More than month of blockade in Manipur and people are suffering hell and our spineless congress govt is waiting and watching and answering Bhopal case to the public.

China's Supremacy in Infrastructure
by Anumakonda JAGADEESH on Jun 18, 2010 03:10 PM  | Hide replies

These Bridges are only Barometer to show the supremacy of Chinese in building Bridges and Infrastructure. That is Why Big Nations like USA are afraid of the would be Super Power in Asia.

In My town (Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India) there is a small bridge constructed about 40 years back(Railway under bridge). Thanks to the contractors of the bridge construction even when there is slight drizzle, there will be water logging and traffic will be disrupted! I don’t know when we will catch-up with China?

If this project will be built in India then following charges will be borne extra by the Indians: Original Charges of Bridge Making Commision of Minister Commission of Ministry Officials/employees Commision of Engineers involved Comm. of Accounts depart while payment comm. of contractor. Except this these process will take so much time that the original price calculated intially will get several times more. Except this several other com. are also involved in the project making it very difficult to get started

You are right..it is a civil engineering wonder. A site like redifff is not able to distinguish between architects and civil engineers. Architects cater for functional requirements where as Structural safety is the job of a civil engineers.
