Millionaires
by dkamle on Jun 17, 2010 11:19 AM  | Hide replies

More millionaires means more entrepreneurs. The top 3 millionaires countries are the top 3 developed nation as well.

India is seriously lacking entrepreneurs, thats why manufacturing, small-scale industries is underdeveloped. Its the companies with less than 10 employees generate huge employment, contribute lot to GDP and bring prosperity nearer to villages.

Yiwu, China has 600 zipp manufacturing industry-600 entrepreneurs in just one location. In manufacturing there is lot of oppurtunity for enterpreneurship.Missing 'M' (middle) is doing lot of harm to Indian economy.

Instead of having few multi-billionaires we need to have million millionaires, wont happen unless we change our attitude towards being a businessman.

good observation, i would like to add that to be entrepreneurs.one has to be risk takers, we are very risk averse,we think of what happens if things fails hence no entrepreneurs.

There can be program of balanced wealth creation by providing access to education and opportunity. Govt has good policies but pathetic implementation mostly due to corruption. Instead of criticizing Govt, we can name and shame people (convicted criminals, convicted corrupt officers of our locality) by putting their photos and name in prominent places. Lot of rape, petty crime, corruption can be avoided by this. It should be made legal to do so. But who will do it?

With mobile camera phones and sms, putting up photos of scums in public places are not required.

WE MUST LEARN TO MAKE INDIA MILLIONAIRE
by siddu Jackile on Jun 12, 2010 01:48 PM

We can not change our rulers (Dirty politicians and our corrupt system) but can try the way they rule us by our ambition and determination. The people with ample money becoming rich day by day and poorer are becoming poor day after day just because of corruption and poor ethics in the system. We must forge strong partnerships between government agency, industry and society so that uniform growth can be achieved to make India millionaire. India seen so mauch of development in recent times, but only politicians and entrepreneurs benefitted ignoring society.

Its a relative term

Millionnaire is just a number game. Take into consideration the cost index and global inflation, most of the millions would melt into wax. Food prices have risen by over 10 times in a decade, so also housing and medicare.

Creation of products for consumption which augments to decent standard of living is real wealth creation. A person living in a million dollar home is not worth million dollars. Unless he sells it , the money is a NPA. So it really does not matter.

And in India we know how the cancer called REAL estate grew in the last 10 years. Every one is a 'Dalal' or middle man. There is an accute shortage of hard working and genuine product generators. Every one wants easy money.
