I was going through the article and few interesting discussion that follows. Interestingly some of the messages are not in relevance to the subject. I appreciate the work that Das and his men are doing. But I have no interest about his personal life or financial credibility.

I appreciate the way you are thinking. But I am telling you their employees are working in my company now. They were forced to show any kind of forcasting result. So what their software is showing is fake.
The company, Express Weather, used to advertise themselves as weather advisory company. In fact, they don't have any equipments for prediction of weather or for providing advisory. This is the intel.
This company earned its reputation by doing duplicitous representation to its customers. The culture of this company is doing misbehave to its employee. Also there practice is not giving money to employees.
India badly need such companies, as the accurate weather prediction has huge potential in all fields, agriculture to event management. Weather prediction is usually made for all major sporting events across the world. I understand that, even for Common Wealth Games in New Delhi, such predictions are made.
This is a wake-up call for IMD. If IMD is not going to be professional, many such companies will take over their domain in another 10 years. Basically, IMD's ineffectiveness is made use of here. Or IMD should allow private firms to take over local predictions. So that they can remain on national domain.
