This is one more case of government over reaching its power resulting in injustice.
I am a supporter of free markets. But this is CORPORATISM (Businesses working with Government to get sweetheart deals).
It is so critical that we demand the government to respect contracts between to parties. It is not the role of government to side with any party, but to be an enforcer of contracts.
Business and individual land owners must be the ones to decide if they want to get into a buying/selling contract.
If the landowner is not willing to sell his/her land, he/she should not be forced for the "greater good of the country".
Support FREE MARKETS.
What we are seeing in India ia a UNHOLY ALAINCE between politicians and business.
This is what hurts the "Aaam Aadmi".
We need government to get out of this SEZ business. It is injustice to the poor who they often claim to champion for.

how many farmers want to do farming??? SEZ having clearly mentioned its not for agricultre land.. and the value they are talking .. when sez proposed they got say some 6-20 lakh per acre. but when its got proposed and private players start emerging all around area for residential,commercial schemes they manipulate land price.. so what these agitators wants? they want to compensate with private builders ,developers pricing.? if govt crash these sez project. who gonna pay them huge chunks??
these is the problem faced by indian farmer in almost all the states, and is severe in maharastra, MP,AP etc, but rediff only realised these when and chritian single farmer is under problem, that shows rediffmail is only concerened regarding the problems of christian. really bull sheat
i think or you may say assume there should be a another red revolution in near future against the government as earlier taken against british raaj and monopoly industrialist and imperialsim
god give conscience to these sin people to think about the welfare of mass people it self
this forum is full of hypocrites...just the other day..most of them in the forum were supporting the "Barath bandh" for inflation. It is very unfortunate that the same ppl will also support setting up SEZs on Agricultural land. Here is simple mathematics: more population needs more food and more food means more land to produce food.

Mr. Indian, seems like you have failed to understand what exactly this agitating land owners want. What they are fighting is on not getting a right value for their Land. They are not actually interested in continuing the agriculture to feed you and your off-springs. Give them that right value and you will see this agitators will go home happily.
