It is either innovation and development is a far cry to the average Indian Psyche which is full of destructive potential, or the person coming out with beautiful,creative and innova tive ideas is mercilessly trampled upon by others interested in maintaining status quo.

A man should be strong enough to face the challenges. If one man is able to show the way of living, rest will find it easier to follow. Need of an hour is that courageous man/woman come forward and lead the nation from front. Why not stop thinking about quick personal gains and keep working towards far-sighted-vision.
9th great strategies Indian should change himself from Service Industry to R & D research and development Industry in next 5 years. Indian Service Industry accounts for 62.6% of the country GDP it should be R & D.

India is a very GhatiNation and therefore progress and innovation here is impossible right now. These Ghatimarathis are a riotous bunch whose only agenda right now is migration and UP/Biharis. Because of that the entire nation is suffering and all the progress has stopped. Unless we liberate these 100 million GhatiMarathis from India, no progress will occur in the near future. If we kick out these GhatiMarathis from India, we will be a developed nation in next 5 years.

You are absolutely on the mark. If we liberate these marathis from India, they will be happy because then no outsider will migrate into their land. And we Indians will also be happy because we won't ever have to see a GhatBhau in our lives. So let's strive for a GhatiFree India.

Hi Sanjay, What about terrorism? Has it anything to do with economic advancement? I think when we deliberate strategies to build innovative India, the pros and cons of terroristic tendencies and inclinations of the youth of today need analysis and remedial measures: For, this topic is a grave block against sound economy.
Today China is investing billions of dollar in improving job skill of masses. Why ? they know thats biggest weapon to win the economic battle of the world. No wonder they get 30 billion dollar of investment every year. we get only 3 billion. Job skills to make better product and services is highly essential. Passion for excellence in everything we produce and consume. to make it world class. thats only way india can grow. Otherwise indian get mentally and physically lezy. and we will have to live in dirt and violace for 100 years.
The author has quoted the Jugad as a rural invention. The apex court has banned it for the likely accidents. But the same supremen court has not banned airlines whose tyres have burst while landing. Therefore the system favours the rich. The article does not take care of this aspect. The fraud of Satyam and the salary of its highly paid executives is a creation of value chain But the NAREGA is unproductive, What a logic ? Such article require an open debate rather than a mere readers reaction for 24 hours.

I do not think that NREGA is achieving anything - it is making several people completely lazy. What is the physical work that has been achieved by this scheme? Has it brought in improvement in infrastructure etc?? Many of those people just to go the site wait around for 2 hours, collect their money and go home -- they have given up all other kinds of employment, since under a private employer they have to work! Ask people in non urban areas - they do not get labourers for anything !! Reason - easy money under NREGA - It is surely a political victory and a social disaster!

Its official bribe to purchase votes!! Else, they should be put to work on projects like joining river to avoid flood in one state and draught in another
