The author of this article is idiot. 52O million is not 5.2 crore it is 52 crore. 1 million is 10 lakhs. So 10 million is 1 crore and so 520 million is 52 crore. First go back to school to learn mathematics.

doesnt the author realise 570 million is almost half of our population... stupid underpaid overworked reporters
India is doing really well. We still have many problems to take care of, but we are doing to everything in our power to overcome them. We have a large, young workforce, a hard-working population and favourable conditions for us to keep growing, and nothing will stop us now. Thank you Dr.Singh, as long as you are at the helm, I have hopes of India occupying the position she deserves.
I don't know where the BS and Rediff where got such unit measure i.e. 570 Million= 5.7Cr..and 520 Million= 5.2 Cr..but i am sure they are among the Kangressiyas bluffmasters..
I would appreciate if rediff reports on current situation and causes of Bharat Bandh. Why is that you are reporting about new job opportunities that are planned for next five year when there's burning issue that needs to be tackeled. Fuel prices rise, essential commodities price rise, everything is costly these days. Government says government institution like IOC and Bharat Petroleum should make profits. What do they mean by that! have we elected government to make profits through us. Government should first focus on aam admi before comming out with such gimmicks
