I think it would also be wise to take into consideration the US company that we would become dependent on incase we go for BT Brinjal. this company doesn't really have a good track record and not much of credibility. Most of all, in the long run we would become dependent on these companies for food supply. there is a documentary on the company called: the world according to monsanto. it is easily available on youtube and is a must watch.
