The condition of Bihar is due to the biharis who have anti-development state-of-mind. They only like to mis-use and flaunt power. This state can never progress becaue people have medieval and feudal mind-set. This is not only visible in villages but also amongst the elites/Senior Govt. functionaries. No special status should be accorded to it as they do not deserve it.

That seems to be a tall order. Although Nitish is doing well than Lalu did, his prospects in Election 2011 does not look bright

yes we know that you biharis cant speak good things. Thats why we want use lathi to make you civilised .
Nitish Government should decide on some safe SEZ for various industries. Make arrangement for basic facilities. Invite industrialist & give full guarantee of currouption free procedure. Use their own cheapest labour.
Bihar has all the natural resources and its a wonder how its an under developed state.All the parties who ruled this state made sure that this state does not develop so that they can continue to plunder. Biharis are hard working too and in spite of the resources they have it is sad they have to migrate. This state first requires literacy rest will follow.

Bihar has natural resources does not hold true now after the bifurcation of the State. It is Jharkhand which was rich in natural resources and that 52% of the Country's share.

Whether Jharkhand is part of bihar or not, distance from mines to any city of Bihar is still same. Why not you apply this basic common sense? Yes mine's royalties will go to Jharkhand whether raw materials go to Bihar or USA.
