There needs to be appropriate Tax exemption limits for the Senior Citizen for a dignified living! Employees who have retired in 2006 have not been the benificiary of massive Pay revision, enhancement of Gratuity limits, higher amount of pension due to increased pay arising out of pay revision. The purchasing power of these retired employees (prior to year 2007) is much less and are living in the same market where Bus fare (increased in some routes by more than double - Noida to Dhula Kuoan has increased from Rs 12 to Rs 29), milk, electricity, water, all vegitable and grocery items have enormously increased and on the contrary, the Bank Deposit rates have drastically reduced!
Can we expect some more relief in Income Tax and better Bank Interest rates for the elderly persons (present slab of extra 0.5% has practically no meaning and it should be atleast 2% more - like the Interest rates currently applicable for the retired SBI employees)

Wht u have written is right. But what about Population.... If we cant control population...this measures wont help in long run. Only child is compulsory.... this is the most important step we should take. No free education, grants or anything free of cost for the second n above child.
I will tax @ 20% on all the cash deposits after June30 2010.Till June 29 2010 any body can deposit in their account any amount with out any Tax. Why?
This will stop all the underhand dealing. This will stop the circulation Indian currency printed in Pakistan used against India for Terrorism. The Banks can easily destroy all the forged currencies.
This will decrease the inflation. Property price will come down to at least 50%..Govt will get the actual registration money on property. Now registering a property at 10% of actual sales Value. Here Govt. loosing registration fee of 90%.
Which one make cash payments are escaping from the service tax net. All the services except adultery is under service Tax net . Due to this cash dealings Govt not get actual service tax..
I will not allowed to deposit cash on year ending by corporates. Because by adjusting their cash balance they deposit black money in their current account. This cash is with drawn for making wages payments unregistered employees , make bribe etc. etc. This is very common In garment Export Industry ,Construction Industry , Cinema , Media Industry. And Hospitality Industry.
HRA benefit will given to make the payments through cheque only..
I will remove service tax on all the telephone bills which less than Rs.400/- in a Month..
I will not create no more tax on the public. For next two years I will not change tax slab.

All the chor congressees including hounrable PM says India will grow 8% in FY 2011. Ask meaning of GDP to a man who earns daily Rs 50 for his family. I request all chor congressees to bring down the food prices, fuel prices etc.
If I were the Finance minister I would 1) set stiff targets for the IT officers to sniffout corrupt officials/businessmen. Nail these guys and confisicate their money. This money will be used for bridging the deficit. 2) Make the IT returns submission very very simple. 3) Remove Rs 1000 & Rs 500 notes from circulation completely and incentivize electronic transactions. This will reduce black money and increase transparency. 4) Increase focus on small and mid-sized towns where people have not even heard of Income Taxes.

Also, 5) Reduce allocation to defence. Ensure more defence money is spent on internal security and intelligence gathering rather than buying new toys for the military. 6) Encourage entreprenaurship. 7) Encourage public transportation and penalize wastage of fossil fuel.
