Here the budget is not for the common man and it's little bit OK for the middle class schedule Ok for providing tax benefit but if person earn that much so he can pay na If he won't get a source for earning for paying tax then the budget become worst So whenever u planning such thing don't see u r pockets but see the face of common man who is struggling and giving a real tactic votes to u leader who forgot everything once u r pocket get packed..........So it's only a fake thing is presented toward society...
This budget will please all those, who are paying taxes and in organized sector. what about those who do not fall in any tax bracket. Increase in diesel and petro products will have cascading effect on prices of all commodities. It is the common man who has to bear the burnt for that. common is already reeling under 17% inflation in food and vegetables and I feel it will now go up to 20%. That is the Common Man's budget, my foot
The Union Fiancial Budget 2010-11 has been presented in the Parliament . The Budget is Inflation Oriented the reson due to increase in the Prices of Petrol , Diesel the prices of essential commodoties will increase and due to the prices of Petrol and Diesel becoming dearer common man's homely budget will directly effected .

yes u wil agree.. after all your ppl agreed with the british too and the other kind with the other invaders from the north west.
Budget is bouncer for common man! They never did any thing for poor people. Rich becomes richer & poor becomes poorer i.e the moral of the story. I have not seen single common man who is happy with any budget produced till date.

who is poor? are you poor? are you really worried about those living BPL? or are these just croc tears?
this is a great budget for the middle class ... those making under 5laks or about 40k pm have a lot to cheer
Only those over 8 lakhs annual wont see a huge saving in taxes
Re: Re: Budget

No need of croc teas for BPL as human being it is just concern for other human being who is helpless for his one time food
Given a little tax conssion it will only benefit who's income is more than 3Lakhs. Other hand increase the rate of Petro and Diesel and Coal. Within the month the electricity, transporation will increase. Automatic cost increase rate increase. Service tax introduce in Health related service from Hospital. No. tax will be paid by insurance co. If they pay they certainly increase the premium.

This is called socialism. If you don't increase rate of Petro and Diesel and Coal even it is increased heavily in International markets, for poor vote bank this is called socialism.
Budget is atypical example of divide and rule policy. In india there are more nos of poor than highsalaried people. If the poor given relief their impact will be much more.In any office their are 30 clerks peons low salaried employee but sab would be one or two One can realise why govt.could not give releif to poor.
Re: budget

those 30 clerk/peon dont make a thousand or two a month anymore
clerks are making 30k/month and they will benefit from the lower taxes. managers typically make over 80-100k per month and will see a smaller percent saving in taxes
I just do not know who is a Aam Aadmi as everybodyis claiming that they are one. Even those earning between Rs. 3 - Rs. 5 lacs per annum are claiming themselves as Aam Aadmi and I am really left wondering as to how many in India earn such a kind of money given that 40% of the people go to sleep without food. Well if they are propogated and accepted as Aam Aadmi, then it means the very definition loses its meaning.

Those who go to sleep without food, are those people who don't want to work, lazy people. There is no shortage of work in India in which you can eat easily.

It is not so Raj. Labour is a cheap commodity in India and especially unskilled labour and their quantum of work load is tremendous, even 12-14 hours a day. In the unorganized sector there are any number of firms where the minimum wages are not even paid to the workers. You just cannot brand any body going without a food as lazy. The reality is entirely different.

Raj do you know the daily wages act & in actual do you know most of the labour getting peanuts after working for 12 hrs. They get hardly 50-60 rs after working for 12 Hrs. Dont say they dont want to work or they are lazy. It seems you have not face the major money crunch in your life. Pls try to understand their condition & how they survive. So called big industrialist are reluctant to pay their rights though they are getting profits because of their hard work.

Read the story of the little red hen. That is true capitalism. I dont why people always expect a better and rich person to keep sacrificing for those who are not so rich. Poor peoples responsibility is to come up in life. You cannot throw another person in the well to equalize with another person who is already in a well.

what's wrong with earning 50-60 rupees in a day? ... you get paid what teh economy and market conditions can offer for what you do
Pranab babu has once again proved that todays budget goes all out to support the rich investors and the relatively comefortable economic strata of the country. In any case the rich or the higher middle class is hardly bothered by hike in Petroleum products and the inflation, but the middle class and AAM AADMI is certainly hit by the hike in Diesel and Petrol prices as this will have cascading effect on the inflation of all most all the comodities. As such the common man is hard pressed with the high inflation of food items. This will only add fuel to the fire and make the middle class life miserable. The opposition walkout from the Parliament is justified and the government needs to push back the inflation as an immediate priority lest the have nots start looting the haves leading to lawlessness all over.
Any Finance Minister who wishes to reconcile the conflicting objectives of price stability, growth and capital inflows will fall between two stools. These concepts are quite in conflict with one another and one does not know the right dosage to maintain the balance. It is good that the FM did try his best but how well he does given the compulsions of fiscal prudence, there will always be murmurs of protest as you just cannot satisfy everybody and that too in a Country of over a billion.
