Yes, send sand from Bangladesh to Maldives. Send all the sand, mud, trees in Bangladesh to Maldives and make a large Maldivian island there. Bangladesh can be turned into an inland sea, and all Bangladeshis sent to Saudi Arabia whom they adore very much.

You Idi0t,
Read the article carefully. Bangladesh is going to start a huge artificial river project. The extra sand dug out of it only would be sent to Maldives

Plant trees

Maldives should also plant trees along the shore line to protect erosion by rising sea levels with backing of extra sand from Bangladesh as planned.

What are you talking about? Their largest island is 1km long and 1km wide. The rest are smaller than that. Where are they going to plant trees and what are they going to prevent.

Land is not just scarce, it is almost non existent.

The airport is as big as a runway. The fuel for the airport comes from another island, the water treatment plant is on the next island probably alongwith the power generation plant.

The highest point in entire Maldives is around 5 metres and in general land is 1 metre above sea level.
