This is total bias to cities like Mangalore which is one of the best in the country. Mangalore should be rated higher than some of the cities in the list.
Friends, come and see the city of Mangalore and i am sure you will believe it will be one of the top 10 cities in the country.

Maybe one of the top 10 to live in but necessarily most competitive. Let Mangalore be Mangalore a great city where hitech and old traditionalists survive.
Lets see what china is doing.instead of spending money on old cities they are building new ones hiring world renowned city planners.lets also have well planned new cities in all states of India
All cities looks good in picture, but what about pollution, traficc, hawkers on foothpath, path holes, beggers, spiteers of tobacco, seater rickshaw with loud noise, signal breakers, trucks without pollution control & that too with loud horns etc etc. This the condition in every city so how these cities are Competitive?

To begin with, we are fast growing economy. That's just a reflection of cities becoming competitive. But for the growth of a city or country responsibilities are to be shared by both government and citizens. It's the citizens who are spitting all over the city and polluting the city. Government's contribution in that is very little.
