1. People from all over India work in IT inductries. 2. Globalization is defective because there is no level playing field. 3. Heavy tarrifs should be imposed on the goods of the imports from the countries with very low wages.

ohh dear! what wisdom... we are blessed to have been prophesied by his highness
dear charls schumer DONT FORGET AMERICAN COMPANIES HAS THEIR SET UPS IN INDIA ,U CAN IMAGINE WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THEM IF YOU BRING SOME BARBARIC LEGISLATION IN US CONGRESS
Infy, TCS, Wipro are made by American companies to serve them at cheap cost. So, their business model is of a chop shop. Over 80% of the earnings of these IT companies come from American companies.
The fact is that all Indian IT Services companies are chop shops. This is also true that 80% of Indian IT workforce is scrap, but they fit very well in the business model of Infy, TCS and Wipro. These companies do not need except for low cost labor and strong marketing guys who can sell them at good rate.
And not only US, even in India you will find thousands of high caliber senior IT pros jobless as they do not fit in the business model of Indian IT industry. Some product companies are exception.

hahaha whine as much as you want. Smart ones will make the money and people like you will keep whining on message boards. These hi tech sweat shops whether you like them or hate them are here to stay. Most Americans don't even know about these hi tech shops and those who do understand how globalization works.

Yes, the difference between your Local Sweet Shop and Haldirams. Your Local sweet shop sells you Samosa at Rs 5, Haldiram sells at Rs 10/piece.
The difference is quality. Still you buy it from the Local sweet shop because he sells it for less. You damn care what ingedients he is using or what kind of diseases you will catch in the future.
This is exactly American companies are doing by outsourcing.

Well in case of sweets, i prefer to buy from local shops rather than over paying for Haldiram's and eating preservatives. As for business, if American businesses are doing something that's bad for them, then let them be. Why are you so worried? if you are CEO of some firm, then by all means don't outsource.

Look at theses losers.!! They are not able to compete & hence they are complaining (should be sent back and blaaa..) Instead of asking your US representative to send back, ask them to improve the education so that US can be competing enough in IT. I think that would be more worth than yelling at others.

Harish, This Ace Ventura is no American (prolly a porki troll). An American smart enough to know about Indian Socialism of the 70's would definitely have the IQ to understand how globalization works.

Could be, like him, many Porkis come here in different forums, all failures in life. Back in their failed nation, they don't have any sites or forums to post comments.

Here how outsourcing fits the definition of globalization Mr. Genious. When US (or any business) firms want to cut costs to increase profits they hire people at the lowest wage possible. In the global arena, companies want the most value for their buck and to achieve that they will go anywhere in the world where talent is available. If that's India (or Pak someday if they get rid of their bombs) then so be it. I hope this fits in your definition Mr.Genious. Globalization is a 2 way street.
us companies pay less to indians and chinese compared to what they need to pay to an american but u get more than enough work. now who is stealing americans stealing our hard work or indians stealing americas jobs

In reality America is Chop Shop because they have brain drained Indian brains for decades togeather and still they are losing means they want to enjoy at the cost of India and other countries and do no work

They have become shop shops in the last 10-15 years as globalization has forced them to do so. Otherwise they seldom used to take non IIT or Non IIM guys in the past.
