India is only supporting the use of rickshaw by encouraging this stupid man above.nowhere in the world is rickshaw a means of transport. How can India be so shameless as to show its pathetic , godforsaken rickshaw to the world? why display ur poverty to the world?

Stupid who is telling that, but if no one takes care of rickshawals they will die of hunger, poverty, or become criminals. Whole world is aware of poverty situatio in India and there can not be again defemation. Richshawalas are not beggers they are working population and i salute them. Who is not doing physical and mental labour even Qualified professionals are given excess job burden in all companies and they survive in tension. Known facts. I do not see anything wrong in rickshawalas. If human right is point than you must remove child labour and prostitution first than come to rickshawals. Blind people only can not see.

i don't know how u think but where are u going to get these rickshaw pullers a livelihood from if u abolish it..an average rickshaw puller earns somewhere between Rs. 100 to Rs. 500( a work far less taxing than the construction workers and the daily wage laborers). Dear AP,u need to step out in the open and accept the fact that we are a developing economy and blue colored jobs are not as high paying as the west. People in the west have adopted bicycle as a preferred mean of transport.will u go to ur office riding a cycle?going to office riding a cycle would show to the world how pathetic and godforsaken ur job is that u cant afford a car..it all lies in the mentality..AP,Rickshaws are not as pathetic and downtrodden as u think...when it comes to blue collared jobs,there are jobs which are much more inhumane than rickshaw pulling..think of them first and do something for it before u censure a man who has at least done something.go,work with the masses,feel the real India,travel in the general compartment of Indian railways,live in a village without water or electricity and then feel free to write something here

that's not the point man. Instead of making India a better place, these steps are only taking India behind . where on earth do u find rickshaw and rickshaw pullers? it's just so inhuman to pull someone's burden physically. There's an old saying , "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt" . and that's what India shud have done. There's no pride flaunting rickshaw and rickshaw pullers to the world.Why Prove to the world that India is so poor?

HEY AP, what ever that means do u think that running cars and trucks makes u great? Foolish with little knowledge how many years are u going to last with these cars and trucks? how much oil stock do u have go and do research on it first. I am not justifying that pulling a rickshaw is encouraged but either they do that or die of hunger they only have 2 options. At least they are not committing suicide, they are working hard and lets give them a chance innovate it with a small hybrid engine or motor which can help the puller to drive with lesser energy. Start appreciating good what others have done and don’t just come out and criticize at least he ahs done that what have u or we done nothing but commented isn’t it? He was called to US u or me are not even called to our college or school.

everybody knows dear how poor we are, the sarva siksha abhiyan and majority of other rural development work are carried on by funds obtained either through loan or grants or charity...we still need foreign aid to develop our poor despite claiming to be the fastest growing economy,software hub..blah blah blah..the divide between the urban and rural area is too great..i agree to ur point to an extent that yes,we should have refrained from publicizing the rickshaws,but whats the fault of that man who at least tried to give some thing better to the rickshaw pullers

its better you stop the communal talk in India's matters. Do the same in pakistan and die. India gives equal opportunities (in some way even more to minority) to all religons.
instead of projecting a presentable picture India sends these kind of stupids to world forums which does more harm and no good to India.Try to understand there's no pride in being a rickshaw puller!!

What image does India has abroad sir?Atleast he has not spoilt the way,politicians and so called entrepeneuers like Lalit Modi ,Lalu Prasad,Sharad Pawar,Praful Patel and company have degraded our country.
So this guy is responsible for all the rickshaw mess in Delhi, man you have only created chaos and chaos. Things would have been better if you would have developed faster battery rickshaws which can charge by paddling. We wouldhave have seen traffic at 20km/hr in Delhi ring roads then.
