Why should one get land at cheaper rates
by Raja Reddy on Sep 17, 2009 04:48 PM  | Hide replies

I strongly disagree the concept of giving land at cheaper rates to these so called IT giants. They take land at less cost, recruit many innocent guys when they need it and they will through them once they dont require them, by saying BG verification etc. Just for example this kind of verification nonsense is not there in any other industry. If they are so particular about it, it should be done before joining. Dont know where these IT biggies take people in India.

This is a known fact today many people in the industry are with fake experience certificate. Even there are many people who would prefer to have telephonic interview over F2F and the reason is known. This needs to be stopped. No wonder why IT companies these days are conducting only walkins and have completely stopped telephonic interviews. Unfortunately AndhraProdesh has made a bad name for itself as too many fraud cases have been originated there.

True... Telephonic interviews should not be conducted. There are many ppl I have known personally are there with Fake certificate. They should be thrown out and charge sheeted. IT is the only place where corruption is very low.

And then someone will start agitation for XYZ people. Companies will have to relocate, shifting charges will be levied on ABC people who are no way included in this.
And the best part of Democracy is, land givers will be minister in center. Cheap Formula.

Wish you all Happy Mahalaya & great Puja!!!!!!!!

Budhha Dev is pragmatic and is pro

development like present communists

such as Russia, China even

Vietnam..These countries are now

w not against religion,peopel in

these countries have statrted going

to church,temple...during communist

rule in Begal, Indian religion has

been completely made atheist gone into

oblivion ,rember during its peak days of glory

it was place

where Vivekanand,Ramkrishna dev

were venerated .WB declined fast

with the coming of atheism

propounded by communists thus

engulfing bengal in darkness.

May Mahalya and coming Pooja cast

away that darness and bring light

to the all people of WB.

Jai Maa Durga WB would rise again inspite of

all bong haters just like Sourav showed the

way to present Indian team as a best captain ever

Why America and all European countries have lakhs of churches where ,every day they go for prayers...Why even with so little resources Islam is so powerful...
why a small country like pakistan (20% of Indias size) is able to attack India and get away with it....
Just think about it.......because they are serious about their religion...

For progress work is important but without relion it would lead to what happened to communists..
hollow structure which would collapse....

Unutilised industrial lands in WB
by Manoj Dev on Sep 17, 2009 03:38 PM  | Hide replies

There are number of closed jute, paper & other mills/factories very close to as well as within greater Calcutta. These are on prime lease-hold lands belonging to the Govt. Most of them have attached large residential colonies, now vacant.

The WB Govt. should seriously consider to remove the legal hurdles and re-possess them. Such lands are ideal for the new technology industries like IT. Societal benefits of utilizing them are obvious. Large spendings by tech companies and development of the areas would benefit the local people.

Thats correct. But as u mentioned and we all know, they would be having innumeberable pending cases. But for a state where land is a scarcity, we can try getting it. I hope mahisasuromardini starts some movement on this which would be termed as positive.

good suggestion, there is one problem also, new industries might not like that place and may not be suitable for them also.
