Dont fall prey to the gimmicks of this idiot state called West Bengal. You have seen the fate of Tatas, who in spite of being so good and expeirnced at handling these corrupt politicians, who lost crores and crores of rupees on that Nano site.
We have great Mamata, who will simply jump into the frey to keep the people of WB in eternal poverty to enable her to condut strikes etc and on the other side we have, dangerous Left people, who speak one thing in WB, exactly opposite in Kerala and some meaningless sh.. at all India level. They are also anti-american and your more than 70% turn over comes from there.
So, better you look for some other place and enjoy peaceful sleep in the nights.

What do you know of the issue in bengal? how many strikes were there by Mamta in last 2 years? ZERO.. her policy is not strikes now.... have some facts ready before speaking some meaningless things

u can ask anyone around you, satire is good, continue for few more days..no issues
Re: Re: Re: Re: Dont even think of going there

since we are communicating here, request you to oblige, please tell me the policy of Ms. Banerjee or her party. The lack of a proper opposition in West Bengal has allowed the pseudo-communists rule and suck the people for more than three decades. It has always been some creating some issue and stalling daily life, so is the policy mere issue creation ?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Dont even think of going there
by LaX Ray on Sep 17, 2009 10:54 PM
The discussion in this thread started with strikes, and if you are kind enough to follow some basic news, you will notice that she has clearly said no strikes will be done from their party. I just referred t that.
Re: Re: Dont even think of going there
by Krishnendu Chowdhury on Sep 17, 2009 11:36 PM
She does not like the legal means of notifying Strikes. She rather likes to sit in illegal occupation of important national highways.

ya, we should have many vedic villages in bengal... and police dept should be replaced by people like the one in Vedic episode...who was the law there

Isues must not be skipped with jibes. Politicising each and every issue is a talent of your Mamata didi. She does it with the fervor of nazis and lies in public with the cunningness of Goebbles. The moot issue is that Infosys and Wipro have been offerred 45 acres of land each after scrapping of the earlier project. However, you have chosen to deviate for political reasons only. I therefore pose a few questions: Would it have been fair for the State Govt to continue with the project even after knowing that the land was acquired in an irregular fashion? However, even if that would have happened would TMC supporters not vie for jobs in the IT project? If Mamata Banerjee becomes CM of WB where will she bring up factories and IT projects?
Why has Railway ministry aimed at acquring farmland for Ludhiana-Dankuni Corridor? Is there no Maa Mati Manush in Ludhiana?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Dont even think of going there
by LaX Ray on Sep 17, 2009 11:02 PM
Well, so the land was acquired in irregular fashion?? hmmm...thank god...
Regarding your second point...so no railways anymore...anyway..one of ur leader is writing a book too...politicizing is an issue..but not limited to her alone...people saw how the perfect gentleman governor was targeted time and again by the so called leaders/

Mr Lax, it appears that you could not read the word "Tata", and read "Vedic" instead!
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Dont even think of going there
by Krishnendu Chowdhury on Sep 18, 2009 12:23 AM
Yes Politicising is not limited to her alone. But politicising for personal benefit of grabbing power is limited to Mamata. Also she has an unique quality----lying in public. Do you remember that your didi is dictorate from a non existent university?

Dear friend, Tata's Nano issue is not even One year old. My dear, they announced their decision to pull out of your West Bengal on 4th Otober 2008, not even One YEAR.
What do you call the huge road blockages, threatening the factory employees, hurling stones and crude bombs etc at factory premises during those periods?
May be in your opinion, they are not strikes because you might also be doing all these as an ardent supporter of your Mamata.
Re: Re: Re: Dont even think of going there
by LaX Ray on Sep 17, 2009 10:41 PM
Can you tell me why she won the elections in such a mass way? do you know how land was chosen? go to the villages and see how the red plan worked.... grab land of poor, spare the comrade lands so once the factory is set up, obedient partymen can reap huge profit by appreciation of land price. The party who claims "Kolkata uttal kore debo" for "khaddo andoloner shohider" memory, uses police and bullets on poor villagers

Mr Lax, I must appreciate your outstanding ability of diverting the point at hand!
The question was on the ouster of tata, and you tried to divert the attention!!
You also tried to prove that Tata was hand in glove with those unscrupulous "comrades"!
Very nice thesis!
We appreciate your ability to abuse our industrialists!

I cant help myself but agreeing with you. The first writings of yours were true to its every sense. I am from Bengal and I am ashmed. over 30 years of corruption, hooliganism and total detsruction of state's industry and resources Budhayadev was giving some hope to bring back glory of WB pre indepandence. I think bengal is going to be in jungle state under cheief misnistership of Mamata Banaerjee. I feel sorry for budhyadev that inspite of having good intention his party and crzy mamata ruined it. I really feel sorry for WB people going backwards in 21st century
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Dont even think of going there

Anurag, partly u are true.. but dont you think its shameful for a chiefminister to speak amra ora. paid back in their own coins....were these acceptable? dont be a blind worshipper...jai jaak krishoker praan, hiroker raja bhogobaan
The scenario is simple, and the solution is also simple.
Let's accept the fact that there is very little non-agricultural land in West Bengal (except in far-flung districts like Bankura or Purulia where industrialists or investors would not like to go, because they would naturally prefer land nearer to the commercial hub of the state - Kolkata or Haldia)! It is also true that it is impossible to buy land directly from peasants in West Bengal, as no peasant holds more than 1 or 1.5 acre of land due to successful implementation of land-reform in this state - and no industrialist or investor would take the trouble to deal with hundreds or thousands of individual farmers to obtain hundreds or thousands of acres. So, the only viable option is government acquisition of land by offering suitable compensation to the farmers. However, here is the catch of Mamata Banerjee. She is against the govt acquisition, even though the compensation may be higher than other states! She has also succeeded to convince the common people of the 'logic' of her stand (which is really illogical)! And, the Left governement of the state has repeatedly surrendered to this illogical stand!
So, see the result: The govt - Not willing to act. The opposition - Not allowingto act. The people - Not understanding the issue.
So, even though the solution is simple, it is now difficult in this state!

Re: Simple, and difficult!

Here is the problem. Have you seen the fate of the people in Gurgaon, Pune etc who gave up their land for IT industry? They have been pauperized within a single generation. You may give a lot of money, how about the wisdom to utilize that money properly? The unskilled can now till the land and lead a life which is perhaps poor but still has the dignity. Once industrialized, the cost of living will shoot up so high that, they will be far worse off than they are today. There will be a huge social imbalance, which will rob them off their dignity. In effect, the uneducated will be simply crushed like harmful weeds. It is not quite as trivial as giving more money, a strong rehab program is the need if industrialization is the way to go. Why not revolutionize agriculture, is industrialization the only way to prosper, perhaps we ought to answer that question first.
Re: Simple, and difficult!
by Bishnu Panda on Sep 17, 2009 10:36 PM
Why Infy/Wipro need huge langs for an IT company? IT firms dont need large land. Anything under 10 acres is good enough for them. See the Wipro offices in Hyderbad, its barely 5 acres. Hitech city is built on 8 acres. So just of 10,000 jobs why to waste 45 acres of land? Infy is very showy and they build their office like a resort, wasting lots of argricultular land. Let them build tall builds and save space. Dont forget that world trade center was build in just 1 acre land.

If I have unerstood you correctly then your objection is why Communists would give away Indai to the Chinese and not the Americans.
Re: Re: Re: another chance

Yeah it is better to allow Americans to inspect your armouries, dictate you aout the usage of your arms and ammunitions.Thats really democratic and would really stop chinese intrusions.
Surprising that you have got to China from IT projects in WB.
The next article on this will be with a photograph of Mr. Bhattacharjee with a sullen expression and Mamta Banerjee with an even more sullen expression announcing that Infy and Wipro will have to pack their bags..!!!

people from all over the country just not survive but live here and this isnt something new ...it has been happening for long and talking about neutrality we have south indians and even their second generation sons acting in bengali movies speaking in perfect bengali accent , americans working in bengali movies who have been living in kolkata since 30 years cuz they love the city, we have people from rajasthan , punjab , orissa, bihar all over who have made this place their home and own it as their own , i have a telugu friend ,a software guy whos happy to be here and wouldnt shift base newhere else hes here for jsut 3 years and speaks fluent bengali ..we desist discriminatory behaviour

Mr. Slayer, Why did not you mention about illegal Bangladeshis in there who are pampered by the state and it has become a national security problem. Well, that is what you guys are, trying to hide the real fact. Cheers
Re: Waste of land
by Bishnu Panda on Sep 17, 2009 10:43 PM
Partially true. Bengalis generally dont like non-bengalis. I stayed in WB for 4 years and I know it well. There are lots of discrimination happens, ask anyone who has studied in REC/NIT or IIT KGP.
Re: Waste of land
by Atanu Chatterjee on Sep 17, 2009 07:12 PM
thats an inflammatory racial comment. Absolutely not true. In Bengal we rather have less hatred towards other communities. We dont have communal riots or bomb blasts unlike many other places. Prolonged communist rule and its trade-union dominance have destroyed the industry, but could successfully create a viable social structure which is rich in culture & have respect for each other. Even few other issues like dowry, crime-rate, gangwar are comparitively less here.
Re: Re: Waste of land
by mnmishra on Sep 17, 2009 07:45 PM
Surely, we agree."In Bengal we rather have less hatred towards other communities"..But it is not true that "We dont have communal riots or bomb blasts unlike many other places". Because reason for this is that most vulnerable part of society is sheltered in Bengal itself. It may be infiltrators from other countries or may be extremists commanding their activities mixed with natives of Bengal and running their cruelest games all over India except in Bengal....and we know well that NO ONE WILL LIKE TO BLAST ITS OWN HOUSE otherwise who will allow a shelter to them.
Re: Re: Re: Waste of land
by Atanu Chatterjee on Sep 17, 2009 08:26 PM
I would agree, but that was not the point i was making. In 1992, when babri masjid happened, the riots sparked all over india. But in bengal we didnt see it. Also the festival time conflicts are relatively less here. But i would admit that people(terrorists or conspirators) infiltrate through Bangladesh border.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Waste of land

Mr. Atanu, You are skirting the major problem that is hurting entire India. Not only that you are pampering a crowd that is anti Indian. Did you forget about Goffur in Vedic village? It is better not to talk about well being of Bengal even though I am a Bengali. Thanks
