What makes you say that certain religion ppl pay more or less in taxes? Do you have data? How many marwaris pay taxes, against the wealth held by them?
Honesty is taught by all religions, how many practice it?
How many people in your own immediate blood relation have shown 100% money as white when they bought or sold a house? No need to extend to even your whole caste, creed or religion.
Adherence to the law and Speaking truth is the matter of convinience for most people, hindus or muslims or christians or buddhists or sikhs, all are alike as a mass.
Islamic banking is a concept different from regular banking. You do not wish to put your money into it, fine. Let people carry out the business as ususal man...! It may be become successful or it may fail, depending on it's merrits and acceptance amongst the Indian people. Take it cool, as long as it follows the law.

In my opinion no one is funding but I am opposed to the guys here spitting venom on Islamic banks. The whole world is sick of terrorists and you know Mozlems are the worst affected people because this terrorists. If the community brings up Sharia bank why this kind of opposition? we are excercising our rights. After all we Indians have the right to do so.

Any one denied you any of the banking faciliy because you are Muslim ? Grow up man. I can understand a illetrate muslim falling prey to a ill teachings of mullah. But educated people like you also start thinking in those lines is really a stupid. But, as generally seen, in all religions, except one, the awareness is directly proportinal to the education level.

islamic banking in india knocked in late, now our people will realise the benefits of islamic banking, but i doubt if icici, hdfc or other big banks including the govt. will allow it to grow, there will be a lot of lobbying against ISBanking, why? evry1 knows banks earn a lot of revenue thru interest, and ISB banks dont' charge interest, againt the practice of 100s of years of blood sucking marwadis and sindhis who made the needy suffer by charging interest upon interest, ISB is totally against it.
regarding the question that they'll give loans only to Muslims, NO, THEY DO NOT, Loans will be given to all irrespective of their religion. so, chill.
I'am only worried that in some countries in the name of islamic banking, some banks have almost similar operations to the normal banks. that is a bad thing.
if islamic banking is what they wanna practice, practice it to the core, no deviations from the written rule.
pls do not comment without knowing it. if u have a question, pls ask. or google...
one of the main causes of recession was interest (on home loans, vehicle etc) and that component does not have a place in IS banking. think about it.

Then how do the banks operate? How do they pay for their staff and other expenses? Are they going to collect Jizya from non-musliims?

They have already got billions of dubai printed ruppees through Kochi and CPM government and Party helped a lot and many of the local CPM members have already exchanged these money. So they want to distribute that money to public in any ways.
These banks are just transforming the indian wealth in swiss banks, Unwanted money always spoiled youths and the unsrupulous public. GOI can not bring back it officially, this is the only way they can do it, wealth can not change attitude of the most,but some one who takes care of it one day, Why can't we open branches for swiss banks atleast?

Islamic banking funds for jihad,How do you rate? How jihaadists get money, Drugg trafficking, smuggling,arms transportation, insurance frauds, human trafficking,seajacks,ship piracy,film piracy, Islam way of banking is not the real way of banking, it encourages tax evading, money laundering, final affect producing encuches who can't do anything for the country and the world. India faced and succumbed recession only because of its self relaince. Educated community never invest for terrorist activity. Once you start banks overhere atleast we can come to know who are investors for antisocial activities for terrorists.
