so you want the benefits of car ownership only restricted to the rich and the so called IT
India thus enters the select group of countries capable of designing and manufacturing an automobile, and that too at a modest price tag. The success would be even more laudable if Nano could enter the western market. Before trashing it into the dustbin of failures, critics should at least give it a chance to prove its worth.

Wow..we now come in same league as mexico and thailand and uzbegistan and Indonesia and Iran and Turkey who make cars. So nice to hear this.
I am quite impressed by the look of the car. The good thing is the price tag the car comes with. It will be intersting to see what other companies come up with once the car hit the roads. I would say it is quite impreesive if you look into the economics side of it. However, i did not like the look of the interiors and really wonder how safe will be the car !!
i agree that we have made a big bold statement by creating a world first in a car that is both reliable backed by tata and is withing the reach of the consumeers. but has anyone thought where will these cars run atleast from personal exp, there is no space in any of the 4 cities(delhi, bombay, calcutta or madras). the traffic is already so bad that you can hardly move... if we now add another layer of tata nano on the road... what will happen... god only know. i would have been more happy had this car been only released in tier 2 and 3 cities to allow for better use and spread...
Well done TATA. Beat those multinationals who are looting India. Working in India, getting the cheap labour, cheap(price) raw materials and polluting the Indian land, yes all with the help of Indian dirty politiciansand looting the Indians. Cmoon guys get over it and be Indian buy Inidan; take part in nation building. say Tata to Toyota, Hyundai, Ford etc. who have no concern about the people in India and their life, but only the company profit. realise they are all looters

How many people do think buy toyota and ford or foreign make car in India? Cars are bad. Tata are promoting that. Giving that addiction to own people is even more serious sin than the greed of foreign car makers.
Tata has a world beater in terms price (for a small car). Let the barking dogs howl to their hearts content. Enquiries from overseas are coming. be proud that India has world beating car for masses.
