See that's what I am always say. India needs to get over their obsession with IIT and IIM and work on improving other colleges. What useless IITs couldn;t do, these students did? Great Job!! Keep it up!!

You may find in the news that IITs are creating wonders... but may be in other's soil.. for that 'Energy Suckers' like you need to be blamed.
What infrastructure, opportunity and support you are providing to them ? for jobe in some Central Labs in India either you have to get recommendation or you either you have to be in those of Elite Reserved Categories. Then where these talents will go..??.. Then what you will get is this Jugad which fits for nothing
weldone young india . It can be further improved think of biodiesel ,ethanol, oxigen rechrged batteries ,trap green gases like bio methane ,corbon dioxide and monaxide and nitrogen compress generate energy , run by solar panel . young india has bright future provided you survive the presnt maladies of corrution in poiltics ,governance ,beurocracy and india offical dome .Punish corrupt, uncouth criminal politicians and governemnt staff and officers including IAS babus mercilessly

list is countless...not to forget othr options like...biocynite algae, fluoro-bio hydrogen, methane dioxide, biobutanolaide, safflower silver bromide etc.....
It is not much fuel efficient when petrol is considered(comparing to the conventional MAruti OMNI) as it comes down to 47/3.2 = 14.68, which is less than 15 KMPL of the original OMNI. Running costs of the other two fuels is what makes it special.

I Meant to say....[47Rs]/[3.2Rs per KM] = 14.68 KM per litre. The actual mileage of most fuel efficient petrol vehicles..
i ve even more better idea which would be more cost effective. it runs on bio-fuel, so no side-effects. here, the driver as well as passengers will be given lots of chana to consume. after which they will release bio-energy which will be channelized to drive the motors. :-)
