present upa government and there political parties might have 'Invested' in infosys 'SHARES' that worry might have made to send 'CISF' cover.
Either give protection like 'CISF' for all major 'Establishments' and 'CHARGE' from the needy those establishments , this will also create more 'JOBS' and some pay outs from selfish private companies specially IT companies who does not even spend on ads also.
otherwise does it look narrow policy giving cover for 'a' company ?
we (govt) should GIVE income tax benefit 80G TO INFOSYS FOR THE MONEY THEY SPENT TO CISF i.e GOVT .this will reduce finacial burden to govt & pvt firm . this will bring more pvt firm to get security cover & reduce govt burden on security staff finance .
When B techs with 60% all throughout in academics are put as desktop support ... they are paranoid! or just attention hungry! they are expected to hire CISF but not pay their employees properly!
Its a good decision to ask Infosys to pay for the cost of the security cover provided by CISF. When common man is getting vanished in inumerable terror attacks, the govt is bound to give enhanced, effective security for all the citizens first and then deploy the additional forces for private companies for a charge.
Infosys is neither a charitable trust nor is engaged in any social work for the benefit of the people.
Its just an another company operating for profits and it can not be & should not be treated as a social service organisation, which happenned many times earlier on occasions of land allotment, preferential tax rebate, treating the company as an Angel for providing jobs etc.

Do you think they'll publicise if they did ask CISF for free???? Look at the rates per CISF, its not only ridiculous its embarassing. Infosys availing this benifit as good as free. In the end taxpayers will shell out the money for infosys's security. Those who vouch for infosys go ahead and pay for their security. MLAs and MPA and ministers would be raking in a lot of moolah here

Well Said... they are one among those who value ethics and I do not think they would have asked security for free even if provide.

The same company tries get land allotted for peanuts from govts for their every new campuses. Does that mean that, they cant afford to buy the land at market prices? When the govts are unable to provide the land they demand, they threaten to move to some other state etc. This has been happening for the last 15 years only with Infosys, not any other IT company.
Even earlier many govts have openly blasted Infosys for being so demanding.

Nothing and surprising security to these baa is at the cost of common man by way of tax deduction from their poor income.

both of you are idiots. ask me why? cause security to infosys campus = security to 1000's of engineers. do you even have an idea how many common indians work at infosys?

Hi Jawa, Engineers have become such a common ommodity on Indian roads now that you throw a stone anywhere, it will surely fall on an DEngineer.
With AP having 2 lacs engineering seats, 1.5 lacs in Karnataka, 1.2 Lacs in TN, I.4 lacs in Maharastra many more lacs from other states, Engineers will be the most easily available graduates after may be 2-3 years.

Weneed all of themand more if we want to improve our Infra structure it costs to train them and dont forget the engineering graduates went through a similar scenario of oversupply in the 70's and late 60s The lag between supply and demand is nothing new from manpower training trends POV
Imagine hiring 101 of the most professional, elite and battle hardened Green Berets for a sum of less than Rupees 100,000 a day (works out to less than Rs. 30,000 per month per resource). Oh my, my! This is what Infosys pays a junior employee with 1 year experience. Firstly, these battle hardened soldiers need to be in protecting Indian interests in naxalite infested areas. Infosys should go for a private militia. And yes, Infosys got its share of undue publicity once again.

Is it not applaudable that they are sharing revenue with the government and in turn also helping recruit more personnel into the forces.... do not always find negatives.

What do you mean by sharing revenues with the govt? Every small company/firm/business entity also pays the statutory taxes to the govt, just like Infosys.
Lets not be under the false assumption that, the govt or anybody is dependent only on taxes from Infosys or service sector companies. Even the wellbeing of manufacturing, agriculture and every other sector is equally important for a successful economy. And Infosys is not doing any social service or charitable work by running their company.

Shanteri Nayak, You are with a lot of negatives, better fine tune your brain for the benefit of Indians. Let it be this infosys security or any other matter, better develop a positive thinking.
